About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Great Views
Course is in great shape and the views are spectacular. Enjoy.
Prime conditions
If you can hit the fairways you will have one the best golf experiences a golfer can have right now course is excellent!
Beautiful
Great time, the course was in great shape,fairways and greens really good condition. Pace of play no problem. We had lunch before we played and the food and staff were really good.We would play this course again for sure!
Worth the drive
If you’re in Tucson, take the time to come down and see this hidden gem. Excellent course conditions. The back nine will smack you around if you’re not hitting your spot.
Don’t be in a rush to leave the facility. Great bar, see John. Tell him Joe Schmoe Sent ya!
The "Ranger"
Would have been a perfect day had it not been for their "ranger" who was a complete jerk. NEVER saw the 4-some behind us, yet he hawked us with smart talk every time by. Simply unnesecssary and angered us all.
Ruined our round ...
Good golf
Love the course but the 4some ahead of us, very slow. tried to get the rangers help but could not get his attention.
Summary
The fairways are well groomed. Areas off the fairway are almost unplayable. Greens are reasonable but a little bumpy. Layout of the course is enjoyable.
Great condition
That's all you care about so, that's all I'll say. It's a little soggy in the morning and the greens get slower and it plays longer when it's wet. Every course is overpriced, but it's in good shape!
Summary
Fairways and greens are in good shape. Sand traps and areas surrounding the course, of off grass, are unplayable. Scenery is great and course layout is very interesting.
Summary
Course is very enjoyable.. Some of the grass around greens is very difficult to play. Wiry and sticky. This would be a very difficult course to walk. Some of the fairways have soft areas surprisingly. However, the fairways are generally very good.
