Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Could be so much better

Another beautiful day in southern Arizona yet the day was ruined due to not one Marshall or cart guy checking pace of play out on the course. 3 cart guys were working and did not have much to do. There was a slow group out there that was not keeping up with the group ahead then the cart guys/starters did not try or communicate to put people together. We did not know if we were playing with others or not. The cart/starters should have paired people up as there were twosomes behind our twosomes. That would have made the day more enjoyable. To you it is slow season so you don't seem to worry about pace of play. Your afternoon worker in the Proshop seemed unbothered by my comments. Saying it should take 4 and 1/2 hours to play. You have a good course and a very good food and beverage operation but the golf operations needs work.
