About
Located in Green Valley just a short drive south of Tucson, lies San Ignacio Golf Club. An Arthur Hills design, San Ignacio features well placed grass bunkers, dynamically shaped Bermuda fairways and some of the smoothest greens in Arizona. Known for the friendly nature of the course and the staff, San Ignacio is a favorite among the locals from the retirement community of Green Valley and nearby Tucson. The way the course rests naturally among the canyons, ridges and arroyos of the Santa Cruz River Valley pays tribute to the desert and the commanding views of the surrounding mountains. But be aware, the course can play very tight and any errant shot can fall short into many waiting greenside bunkers.

Great day at San Ignacio
Course was in really nice shape. Fairways were nicely maintained, greens were in great shape. Pace of play on the front was perfect. Back nine slowed down and we were waiting between every shot. Overall great golfing experience, I would recommend playing at least once if you’re visiting the Tucson or Green Valley area.

Marshall Gary
This has become one of my absolute favorite courses in the area. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the marshall named Gary. I understand the job he has is difficult, but is it really? This gentleman carried an attitude with him from word one. We got moved up to accommodate a group of seven that was behind us. He's staying on our rear end the entire time even though there were two groups in front of us there were holding us up as well. If you're going to be out being the face of the course interacting with the patrons, maybe come with a little less attitude. The gentleman that I got paired with got to the point that they started calling him officer Gary. The guy needs to check the attitude at the door, because he cast a shadow over the entire day as we could not just go ahead and enjoy ourselves.
I want to make it clear that he was the one fly in the ointment of the day. Absolutely everybody else at San Ignacio makes your experience wonderful.

Played as single got paired up with nice people.
The two times I’ve played in Green Valley five years apart from each other, Haven and San Ignacio, I just felt like I was out of town. Nice escape from big city Municipal couses. I’ll be back God willing.🙏 thank you so much

Fun course, worth playing
The course was an excellent condition. There are some very interesting holes with elevation drops. Good value for the money.

If you can get a price less than $65 it's OK
The greens are very slow in the course condition is fair at best oh layout is good I would only go there for cheap golf i'll never be any more than that

Best public course in Green Valley. View from #13 worth the trip. Good bar and restaurant also.
