Well maintain
The staff was very friendly and the course was in good shape.
The course layout is interesting back nine vey hilly compared to the front nine.
The rough was long and made keeping the ball in the fairway a priority.
I would recommend the course
Great walking course
This course is great for walking. Very challenging par 4 because it dares you to play the driver which brings the sand traps into play.

Super deluxe golf course
Our foursome loves Phillips Park GC. The way they maintain the course is amazing. And of course they want you to be careful riding on the course, but they make carts available as soon as the weather cooperates. Plus a big tip of the golf hat to the Phillips Park pro, Jeff. He's always a classy guy even if your a duffer which I'm definitely not.

Great golf course
Great value and the course was in great shape. Would definitely play there again.
You won’t need your driver. You do need to be accurate.
9/18 holes I didn’t use my driver from the blue tees. Fun little course. I’d play again. I did get stuck behind a foursome of older gentleman that would not let me play through as a single. Caught them on the 13th. Otherwise, a fun round. Hot deal was worth it.

Nothing fancy here, Nicely kept muni at a good price.
Back 9 offers some fun elevation changes on a few holes.

Good value for the money.
Great pace of place and spread of the groups on the course.
Not overly challenging but great for mid to high handicappers.

Nice local course but, pace of play can be slow
This course offers a moderately challenging and yet, forgiving layout. Unfortunately due to current weather conditions many areas are fully saturated and ball plugging is frequent. (mother nature's fault, not the course)
Level of play, and players here; mid to high handicap friendly.
Based this, the facility staff should keep the rough areas mowed lower, or have a first and secondary cut. People spend far too much time searching for shots just off of the fairway.
This is a real detriment to pace of play!

Open and fun
Easily score-able fun to play. Par 3s are tough and long. Hit them in the fairway and youll be golden.
Nice course for 16 handicappers!
Grew up playing her back in the late 70's early 80's. Came back years later after the course renovation, and I love it!
Decent Track - Pace of play great for Labor Day
we've had a lot of rain, rough was long and some fairways had a lot of grass clippings on them. Greens rolled decent but they are pretty marked up. Public track with a lot of novices that aren't fixing ball marks. Starter was not very friendly or inviting, no discussion of the course, etc. He didn't even wish us a Happy Labor day. Woman behind the counter was friendly and accommodating. Some cool holes and a few target holes. Shorter course at 6200 from the tips, but still pretty challenging. Good value.
