Needs work
Course more brown than green. Looks nothing like picture. Best thing was the Elvis house on the 7th hole green.
Straight Greens
I found this course to be pretty straight forward, no hidden hazards or greens. The fairways were in good shape while the greens were excellent. I shot 5 strokes better than my best round in the last 6 months and I didn't hit the ball and better.
Windy but fun
Moderately challenging and a lot of fun despite windy conditions
Fairways and surrounds spotty. Greens and tees in great condition.
Must bump ball through green. Lots of bare areas.
Greens and tees were very nice
Golfing near Laughlin
Just a short 3/4 hr drive from Laughlin, NV to a great golf course. Staff was extremely friendly. Enjoyed the round and would definitely come back the next time we are staying in Laughlin.
Nice course
The course is walkable, but I ride betherecause I'm handicap, employees were friendly, course was okay condition, greens were good. My wife really liked it because there weren't too many bunkers, we will play again.
Fair Course, Fair Value
Third time I've played Huukan. I always pair with some real nice people who are visiting as I am. Course can be tight but is creative given the flat ground and surrounding housing. Except for a few patches, the fairways were in very good shape while the greens and area around the greens were in great shape. Rough is dormant but only 12-15 feet wide then you're behind trees and dealing with a variety of bad lies. Wish there was a bit more grass or the rough that's there had winter overseed. No practice range and the snack bar was closed after my round at 2:30PM. Overall, this is a good golf facility.
Nice desert course.
It was a nice course for the golf now price. Pretty straight forward course! Showed do with Winter wear but was still fun to play. Needed a course to help build the ego...and it did just that!
Older course needs some maintenance
For the money there are many nicer courses, even municipal courses, that you could spend your money on. It is obvious that if you live in the area that you have a better deal Than if visiting. The course web site makes it seem like it is a true championship course, but it is not. It is older and the fairways are barren in a lot of places the greens are in decent shape. Look for deals on some of the other surrounding courses. They are much nicer for the money and the experience.
Huukan
This was a good moderate coarse, very very windy the day i went and the computer system was down so staff was in frezny but were very nice. Pace of play was excellent!!!!!
Nice layout
To many bare spots on fairway and not much golf eticate. Pace is to slow, and slow groups refuse to let faster players to play thru.
Enjoyable Round
I read many negative reviews and was prepared for the worse. To my surprise the course was no where near as bad as stated by some. We enjoyed the layout and the pace of play was excellent. The carts with the GPS worked perfectly and added to the enjoyment of our round. Yes there were some bare spots on the fairway so we just moved the ballot a grassy area(not tournament players). The sand was not as soft and deep as one would like but it worked and was not loaded with any weeds. It runs through a residential area that looks very affordable if anyone is looking for winter housing. Bottom line is we will be back and give it another go. About a 1 hour drive from Lake Havasu.
Very little grass in fairways
First time golfing this course. Very little grass on fairways and ground was hard. Instead of getting a divot, my clubs would bounce off the ground. Hope they work up the soil and seed more grass on fairways. Greens were in decent shape, slower then most golf courses.
Terrible Course
We are snowbirds and started playing this course three years ago. Golf course had just been purchased and we were told be patient as they had a lot of work to bring this course back up to the same standards as their Fort Mohave course. Nothing has been done, terrible fairways and greens...one of the worst courses we have played. Don't understand how the owners can completely ignore the conditions on this course, even the ball washers don't work at every hole.
