improving and great value
A pretty golf course that is a fair test. The bunkers are rocky and the fairways are missing grass in spots and the greens are bumpy. A huge effort appears to be underway to improve the course.
Not great
This course just opened again a month ago, needs tender loving care, will be nice in awhile, but too much money for the shape it is in
I played this course two days in a row, they were in teh overseding process but it was still very playable.
This course has some potential. It was formerly Desert Lakes and was not taken care of very well. It is now owned by the Indian tribe that owes Mohave resort course. You can see they are starting to improve the course I am looking forward to the results. I think they will improve the course considerably.
PS I played course 2 days in a row 9/22 and 9/23
Do not waste your money right now!
Right now they are transitioning from Desert Lakes to Huukan which is owned by Avi Resorts. The course is in POOR conditions because I'm sure the previous owners let it go. The course has great potential to be a great course but no one should have to pay to play that course. They should close up and get it ready for play. Golfnow really should consider taking them off until they are ready for reopening. I spent the money for a hotel so that's why we stayed and played the course. Even though it was over 120 degrees.
Course condition
I was told by staff that the course is up for sale, owner isn't spending any money on course, too bad as this was a good course to play, I won't be back
great value for your dollar.
The course could have more work and maintenance, but given the price, location and economy, this is a very reasonable course for the locals. The carts are good and reliable, people friendly.
This Course is a challenge!
For a course that is 6600 yards this a challenging course! It reminds me of Hawai'i Kai golf course and Waialae Country Club (Home of the Sony Open)! The Staff were very nice and Professional. Next time I go to Laughlin I will definitely golf there again!
Condition is much like a Muni Course, it needs some help.
A little tough to find as there seemed to be very few signs for the course. The course is tight with houses on each side of the fairways well with in range. Plays like a municipal golf course. Watch your tee time as NV is a hour behind AZ at this time of the year.
Could be better
The course is ok. Since new ownership, we see the service going downhill. It used to be very busy, but now you can get on any time. We were disappointed that the cafe was not operating.
Only golfers on the course
Played 9am on Sat./ Light mist. We were the only car in parking lot. Very friendly pro shop employee, gave us a towel for wet cart seat. Tees, fairways and greens had grass and were in good to very good condition, away from those spots the course is not maintained. I enjoyed the playing the course, the bunkers even though wet, played well. If you don't need great conditions all the way around give this course a try.
This course in bad shape!
The course needs a lot of TLC. It was in horrible shapep but the greens were okay! Go down the street and play a few more bucks and play Los Lagos or El Rio. I would not recomend this course.
