Bellair Golf Park
About
Bellair Golf Park in addition to being a good place to practice one's short game it also tests accuracy with long irons. The course aptly tests control over the ball with the irons. Par 4s make up over half the hole at this executive length golf course. Every one of the greens are heavily bunkered and water hazards come into play on a few holes as well. It is close to a residential area but that only creates more narrow fairways, adding more challenge to the game. The course is well shaded and also well maintained, but play can be slow on occasion. Bellair Golf Park offers many discounts, including a twilight discount, a super twilight discount, and there is also an early morning special.

Pricing them selves out of the market
While the course is in pretty good condition now, and the staff is very friendly, they have become very pricey for the size of this course. You can play full size courses (Par 72) such as Pueblo El Mirage for less than you can this executive course (Par 59). This is working class Glendale folks, not Scottsdale. Get your prices down or you will be losing business. I've already spoken with several people that refuse to play there until they lower their prices.
Course was in horrible shape. Not worth the money to play. Was told at payment it was not cart path only then at starter was told cart oath only. Tee boxes were almost non existent or covered in mud. One of them was hitting off turf. I would skip it there are better options to play for the price.
Good day to golf
Played the very windy day prior to the winter storm. Very few golfers. Pace was fast. Challenge was to keep the ball low! Turned out to be a good day.
Waste of money, and time
This golf course was extremely disappointing. For the fees charged to play this Par 3 course, our expectations were much higher and other than the green grass around the greens that made chipping easier, this was a waste of time and money. Tee boxes are in terrible condition. Hard to find a surface to tee up the ball, let alone find a comfortable stance to have a proper swing. Having bunkers in front of the greens (that are hidden behind the bunkers) means that every golfer must carry the sand. Just ridiculous on a Par 3 golf course. Reviews said that it would take 2-3 hours to play. Our pace of play was almost 4 hours. For a Par 3. There are municipal golf courses in far better condition and at a far better rate. Don’t waste your money.
Traps
I know they are “working” on the course. But the sand (well lack there of) traps need attention. They have told me since they re-opened that it’s coming up soon. Hope they figure it out.
Not bad…not good
Lots of traps to keep things challenging. Unfortunately dirt is not sand.
The range and food are worth coming but not in a hurry to play 18 again.
Improvement!
I learned my game on this course, 35 yrs ago. Played many many times. Then life happened. Golf we on the back burner. Throughly enjoyed my round yesterday! I will be playing it again, alot. All new updated amenities are great.
Course good, food expensive
The course was in good condition, sand traps very firm, pace of play was slow due to the foursome in front of us..
The food tuck prices went through the roof which is really too bad as the food was always very good.
Summary course is good, good value, bring your own lunch!
Decent executive course-horrible pace of play
Good little course, been there numerous times before as it is close to my house.. Today (Sunday) horrible pace of play, stuck behind foursome who were very slow, and one guy was teaching his young son (nothing wrong with that, just let the much quicker group play through for cripes sake) no ranger around???
Great short course
I really enjoy playing this course. Green side bunkers are challenging. My only complaint are the concrete sand bunkers. Hopefully one day they will have sand in them. Other than that I would recommend the course to everyone.
No yardage markers
Never played a course with no indication if yardage. Greens putted absolutely perfect. Were fast and true. Number 10 had so many range balls on it that it slowed down play. Not user friendly on a Saturday. Fairways and greens were very hard. Greens won't hold but once on are magnificent.
