Union Hills Golf & Country Club
About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Golfer Reviews
Good value but a bit neglected
We golfed on Sunday afternoon. Overall experience was good, however, there were several holes with the grass off. The fairway was way too long. Very difficult to find our ball even 10 yards off the fairway.
Stopped at the turn for a bratwurst and beer. Bratwurst was very good, but I felt the beers were overpriced at eight dollars.
Holiday play
The staff at Union Hills couldn't have been nicer. The course is always in decent shape, but the rough & sand need a lot of help. Greens were much better this time around and it was a holiday for the slower play.
Fun Course
I found that the course was well maintained throughout. My son and I are beginners so the open layout allowed for the not so great shots vs tight, narrow fairways. The little things matter too like the comfortable golf carts. The clubhouse employee was polite and welcoming as well as the guy at the cart drop off. Overall my son and I had a great time.
Hidden gem in Sun City for a great rate
For the money, it’s an awesome track to play. I did a twilight deal for $22. Course was in solid shape, definitely give the course a try!
Decent for the Price
Only gripe was how slow the greens were. But other than that it was pretty nice except it was 116° outside LOL
UHCC Course Needs Some TLC
Rated the course conditions as fair due to the condition of the fairways. They were pretty barren; lots of burned out spots with no grass. Tee boxes were also in poor shape.
They had aerated the greens about a week prior and did get the aeration alert in the GolfNow app. Greens were a bit bumpy but not bad for just being aerated.
The dude in the cart barn needs to lighten up a bit -- a tad bit rude.
Nice course, no much grass in the fairways.
The layout is nice the course would be great if the greens were not sanded and the fairways had more grass than dirt showing. Don't plan to eat there no snack shop or bar/ restaurant open. Proshop had limited beer supply. I liked the course just wish it was in better shape. Played in 3 hours no body in front of us.
Played this course in April & it was in nice condition, now it resembles a cow pasture. Tee boxes & fairways are somewhat playable but they do have areas that are just dirt but the greens are the worst part of the course. Cannot get a true roll. Might as well take a two putt & pick up. I won’t support this course anymore
Just wow!
From the time we arrived and were greeted, you could tell this place was a step above! The gentleman unloaded our golf bags and put them on the cart, the gentleman inside the golf shop was just as friendly and welcoming! I’m still fairly new to golf courses here so it’s always a little bit nerve racking on course rules and etiquette for each course, so I was very thankful everyone was so kind. As far as the course, I loved it! There was a good balance of difficult plays as well as some easier holes along the course. I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the carts shutting off when you would hit “restricted areas” I know the general “Stay away from tee boxes and greens” but this one would shut down in some pretty strange and random spots. All in all I give this place a 9/10! I will definitely be back to play again and bring more friends! Thank you!!
