enjoy the staff, fair course except all par 3's are long

The course is in very good condition and the layout is challenging with very tight fairways on certain holes. The bar and kitchen is above average with good options. My biggest issue with Union hills in the pace of play I started at 1:15 and couldn’t get through 18 holes.

Called the course the morning I was going to play as I woke up very sick, spoke to Jose about canceling due to illness he said I had to call Golf Now, Tried them with horrific experience of disconnection four times. After that took a Covid test and found it was positive, couldn’t cancel through the course or through golf now. Later in the day contacted Golf Now and again call was disconnected five times this time where they informed me it was the golf courses decision to go ahead and bill my card the $180.00 for the green fees. So I guess the prior owners were not the vultures the new owners are and as long as I’ve played this course I would expect a bit more leeway. Well not to worry as I will never play their course again.

It’s just so disappointing.

The older gentleman who receives the carts needs an attitude check. Just because me or the other player didn’t want to pay to have our clubs wiped down he instantly shifted his attitude and got all passive aggressive with us. Started chirping about how we brought the carts in 15 mins late even though nothing was posted or mentioned to us beforehand. First off I can wipe my own clubs down just fine and don’t need to pay a person to do it, and him being rejected for it is the only reason he mentioned the cart coming in late . Second , if you have a below average rate of play , a person is always going to continue on until they can’t see anymore for a twilight round to get as many holes in as possible. Oh well if the guys have to stay later than they wanted to, but golfers are playing until they can’t any longer.

I like to have a beer after golf with my friends, but the bar closes around 4:00. Same a Palmbrook. Owner too cheap to keep staff on for an extra hour or so.

Website said cart path only thru Nov.10th. We played on the Nov 11th and were greeted by extremely slow play. Tee times were way too close together for cart path only. It took us an hour to play the first 3 holes. Waited 15 minutes between our 2nd and 3rd shot on hole #3. It took us 5 hours and 15 minutes to play 18 holes. Would've been much longer. Our playing partner gave up after 7 holes. We caught a break when the foursome in front of us quit after 9 holes. Never saw a ranger the entire day. Highlight of the round was we saw the cart girl 3 times on each 9 holes. That was a 1st.

It took 2:45 to play nine holes. The ho k e group quit after nine.

Pace of play was really poor. Group in front of our group had individual with some mobility limitations and should have been allowed to drive to his ball. It was taking him a long time to walk to his ball which delayed the pace.

Greens were really slow. I look forward to playing next week when greens are cut and 90 degree rule is in place. Hopefully the rough will be cut.

Really enjoyed the course - best shape I have seen in a while. Was cart path only but I walked so it was faster than riding. Greens are a bit slow and hard to read because they’re fuzzy but give it a little while. Bunkers are pretty hard but wasn’t in them very often so that may end up turning some people off.

Pace of play was excellent 3.5 hrs at 8 am is decent

Golf now did not state Saturday was Cart Path only until I arrived at course to find out cart path only. With bad knees, if I knew ahead of time I would have cancelled.

The course was in decent shape. Greens were a bit odd as they did not putt smoothly at all. The ball bounced it's way towards the hole. There always seems to be a back up on the 3rd hole and later around the 5th. The back 9 has more random slowdown points. It usually takes 4.5 to 5 hours (or more) to play this course because of the backups. For some reason they are almost always short of carts. I wonder if this is because they have too many waiting on slow players.

Nice course price about right food and drinks reasonable priced. Overall it’s a solid course

Course in decent condition, not overly difficult. Staff very friendly.

The rough was way too high all over the course. I lost 3 golf balls not because I hit out of bounds but because I couldn't find my ball in the rough

This course isnt apart of the PGA tournament cycle. So the rough shouldn't be this bad. Trim it down!
