Union Hills Golf & Country Club
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Played in 4 hours. Greens were good condition, as was rest of the course. Bunkers could use more sand. Bratwurst were best tasting I've ever eaten.
A little above average
If I could have rated this a 3 1/2 stars I would have. Pace of play was solid (3 hrs, 55 minutes), course conditions were good, staff was very friendly, course layout was OK but we paid a little more than what I thought would have expected.
Good course, fantastic pro shop, staff. We thought we booked Saturday morning, oops, Friday! They not only got us(2) on, but also as a twosome only. Didn’t bat an eye, made us feel welcome, and not nearly as stupid as we felt already.
only issue, but not just here in Phoenix area, no sand added to traps, still recovering from covid Hopefully all courses will start to upgrade traps. Other than that, course was in great shape.
Union Hill CC
Nice tree lined course. Front side you have to be in the fairway as the trees are large and very difficult to hit around if you tee shot is errant. Back is a little more forgiving there. Greens were pretty slick with aggressive slopes. Some of the pin placements were questionable in the middle of the slopes You HAVE to stay below the hole.
Overall, course was in pretty good shape and playable.
Got out at 2pm, played through 18 before 5:45 with a 4 some. Pace of play was great, course conditions were solid, greens were nice, bunkers were ok. The only thing I would say is the pin location was extremely difficult. Great course overall and definitely worth the money
1st Timer @ Union Hills
Tees, greens, and fairways were in good shape. Rough was thin dead Bermuda grass and weeds. This made for some tough lies when off the fairway. As a bogey golfer, I’m off the fairway often and understand I’m complaining about not hitting good shots but at times I was hitting off bare ground. Overall a decent track for the cost & for a hack like me.
UNion Hills GC
I enjoyed my round at Union Hills. The course was in good condition with the greens running true. Several of the tee boxes needed attention but other than that it was a good round.
A solid 4 star course…
Tees, fairways, greens and bunkers were all in fine shape. Challenging putts if you get above the hole on a lot of the holes. My only complaint was wiyh the cart they provided, wheezed and whined when you initially stepped on the gas peddle and the cart would not move . Had to back off the peddle and press down again before it would move forward. Not a huge deal, just a pesky annoyance….
