course was in great shape as it was getting ready for their re-seeding

Good value for the money but just okay. Would still play here again as it’s cheap.

Good course for the money, plenty of green grass and there was a lot of sod layed recently. Signs they are actively working to improve conditions. Greens were in decent shape and rolled true, semi fast. Pace of play was slow took 4.5 hrs because of a group of elderly walkers on a Saturday afternoon. No Marshall to tell them to hurry up. Ball washers would have been nice on the course. Will definitely play again!

I hadn’t played Palmbrook in a while because of declining course conditions, however I was pleasantly surprised that the course has improved a great deal! The fairways were in great shape and the greens were running nicely. I would definitely recommend playing Palmbrook in the future to see for yourself!

I wanted to try out Palmbrook as I'm looking for a fall league. They have Spark golf so I'll definitely will sign up to play there. Long course. I think I used all my clubs! had a fun time. which is the most important. It was a hot day though.

Craig, a young man in the golf shop is always courteous and friendly.

He knows what he's doing, and will assist in setting up a single player with a friendly group.

The greens and tee boxes are coming in very nice, and the fairways are very good.

There is physical evidence around the course that the owners have been making improvements.

Go into the bar after your morning round, the bartenders are friendly, the physical setting is comfortable.

The overall atmosphere of the golf club and bar is they are pleased to serve you, and will work hard to earn your business. The locker room is clean, and maintained.

I will miss playing the course when I leave AZ next month.

I've met some great people playing golf at Palmbrook.

Played here today because cheaper rate on GolfNow than other courses nearby. Last time here they were still called Country Club... times have changed that.

No amenities on the courses, other than ice and water machine at pro shop. Even basics like ball washers and trash cans are gone. Bridges that once allowed you to cross creeks are all gone. Conditions of course no better than all the burnt out competitors in Sun City.

As a twosome, 65 minutes to play front 9, log jam on back 9 took almost 2 hours, waiting on every shot.

Pro shop staff was friendly and accommodating.

First off, the staff is great, the course is in good shape for this time of the year. We enjoyed the round.

BUT...

When it's 110+ degrees, you need to have a beverage cart or some water set up. That is playing with fire. Fortunately we all loaded up and had water for the back. The last 2 times we have been there, the cart person is gone by the time we get to the back and there are 0 water stations....nothing. I would hate to see someone get heat stroke or worse due to lack of water.
