The golf course at the Palmbrook Golf Club (formerly known as Palmbrook Country Club) has a reputation for being immaculately well kept. The course's greens and fairways are consistently kept in excellent condition making the course enjoyable to play. In addition to the spotless maintenance, the course at the Palmbrook Golf Club has a challenging design that incorporates water hazards in the form of a meandering brook and six lakes on the back nine. The challenging greens are fast and hard to read. There are also several bunkers that can affect play. Four sets of teeboxes provide different options.

Great value
One of my favorite courses in the valley, always in good condition, the only problem is that the majority of players do not repair ball marks. Every time I play I fix 3-5 ball marks per green in addition to mine-IF I make one!
expensive round
booked through GolfNow for 2, got to course and they said I had two reservations for two. Showed them my Golfnow confirmation for only 2 but they said the course they would bill me for two no shows. Called Golfnow next day and they said it looked like there issue but nothing they could do. Called the course and at least they gave me two free rounds. I'm done with GolfNow, they leave you high and dry if there are any issues. Book directly with course and forget Golfnow - they suck
Beautiful course and reasonable price
We enjoyed playing the golf course and it being our first time. We weren’t sure what to expect. We ended up being paired up with a guy who’s played it quite a few times, and he assured us that despite the fact that the pace of play was very slow that it often times he is not like that. We will try it again. However, the pace of play was extremely slow, and we were surprised they did not have a course marshal to keep things moving along.
Slowest round I’ve ever played
Palmbrook is in decent shape but not great. It’s cheaper to play due to the insane prices some of these courses play. For the price, it’s a solid deal.
However, the pace of play was maybe the worst I’ve ever played and I’ve had some long rounds. Our 18 took 5 hours to play with multiple groups waiting on several holes. Never once saw a ranger or employee.
Hilariously enough, they have a line on the back of their score card that says “slow players will be asked to leave the course”
Come here for a cheaper round with ok conditions, but be prepared for it to be a long long day
Greens immaculate. Great shape

Good time, excellent fairways & Greens
There is a lot to like about this course; greens, fairways, even the rough. My only comment is the bunkers need attention. The sand is very compact and needs fluffing up to give the player a chance at a decent shot. However; I really enjoyed my round yesterday and think this is the best of the Sun City courses.
Great value…. Wish greens were faster
Palmbrook is always in great shape. Nice overseed, fairways and green surrounds are awesome. My only complaint with the property is the speed of the greens. The practice green is fast and firm, the actual greens are very slow. Staff are great and course is good value
Country Club Conditions
Conditions were very good… greens are very large and putted nicely. Speed around 9.5. Rough was full and manicured. Fairways very nice. We will definitely be back. Keep the price reasonable.
Forgotten Great Course
Haven’t played here in about 10-12 years and forgot how well maintained the course is.
