About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Because of the excessive heat the course was not in the best shape. Not much they can do about that.

Great service from Cart’s ladies
I really like and appreciate the services on the course. Specially from the Cart/mobile bar 😃 we forgot the mosquitoes repellent and we bought 1 spray bottle (it saved us 😂 )

Enjoyable course but lots of mosquitoes.
Really enjoyed Haven Golf Course. This was our first visit and we will be back. Pleasant course in good condition, a few of the bunkers contained standing water. The only down side was the number of mosquitoes, they were brutal. Bring lots of good quality insect repellent!

It’s an average public course. A few of the fairways needed some care, greens were good.
For the price it’s well worth playing.

Love playing there, it would of be nice if maybe the staff could give a heads up about the mesquiteos that are out in abundance out on the course…..

The course is in good condition, maybe a little over watered in places. The bunkers do not have sand in them. The greens and fairways are in good condition. The pace of play was really slow. Had to wait at each hole.

Bunkers need to be attended too. Like cement some of them.
