About
Built along the Santa Cruz River, Haven Golf Course offers scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. Built in 1967, it is Green Valley’s oldest golf course and the only course in the area where walking is allowed. The landscape is covered with mature pines, palms, and eucalyptus trees. There are water hazards and strategically placed bunkers coming into play, but overall the golf course has an enjoyable, player-friendly layout. In addition to the 18-hole course, the Haven Golf G.C. facility features a nine-hole, par-3 golf course called Tortuga. There is also a complete practice facility with all-grass hitting stations that provides excellent short game practice.

Nice friendly course
Nice course for the average golfer. Will reward better play. Friendly staff. Course conditions improve in winter when it is not 100F every day.

Hole in one
I hit a 6 iron into number 11 hole par 3. It was a beautiful shot. It hit about 1 ft on the green and rolled towards the hole and went in the hole. 1st hole in one ever. My son and I were celebrating like I won the US OPEN.. LOL. Nice course for the price. Staff was friendly and the course was in good shape. Awesome day!!!!

sand traps
The best sand traps in Green Valley. The other golf courses in town have nothing but rocks in the traps we lift out of them who wants to beat up your clubs.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
Went into the bar//restaurant after 9 to purchase a beer. Was told by bartender "you have to throw that cup away" I explained cup wasn't mine and didn't know what was in it. Then was told she was charging me 75 cents for ice as their ice machine was broken.
Came in again with fellow golfers after playing and was told by bartender "you have to clean that table before sitting" We said "screw that" and left. Never have I been treated that rudely as a customer of a golf course. I'll be sure to tell everyone to avoid Haven in the future,

Got kicked off at hole 10
We arrived a 3 pm to play 18 holes. We told Jennifer we wanted to play 18 holes. She charged is $26 each plus we got lunch and drinks. It was $29 on Golfnow at the time. We got to hole 10 and they kicked us off saying we didn't pay for 18. There was almost nobody on the course. Very bummed and feeling ripped off. Manager didn't answer our calls.

Nice stroll.
I jumped on this $33 GP+ HD and used a credit. It was so nice, I chose to walk with my MGI Zip Navigator. John M. played the Yellow Tees and rode solo. During the back nine storms of the Santa Catalinas threatened but never our way. we finished in speedy time of about 3:45. Greens gave me some fits but not blaming the grass. Beverage cart was seen multiple times, and our group took advantage of it. We had some nice weekday, fast, fun.
