About
The Viewpoint Golf Resort offers both a championship course as well as an executive golf course. The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill of golfers of any skill level with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course definitely makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course also provides a scenic atmosphere for the game with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. Viewpoint Golf Resort's Championship course is easy to walk and there are four sets of tees for a variety of different golfing options.

Slow!
5 hour round. Easy course should NEVER be this slow!!
Really dried out
Course is really getting dried out, greens were not great. Can’t recommend. Staff were all wonderful though
A fun course
Lots of shade and a playable course. One of our favorites!
New Favorite Course!
First time I played here, and was not sure what to expect - exceeded my expectations!
Not the longest course about 6200 yards max, I played the back tees and there were some challenging holes for sure...
Great practice areas, my round was reasonably priced and it is a fun layout, loved all the pine trees!
Fairways were in excellent condition and greens were as well - firm and pretty fast.
Planning to play here much more often.
Better than expected
Based on its name, I was expecting lower quality. But except for some poor tee box conditions it was quite good.
Unexpected Gem
I was looking for a nice round and found it at Viewpoint. Course was in grt condition and the staff and pace of play were excellent. I live in Scottsdale but will come back for sure to play again.
Great little course
Two of us played on 4/15, not paired with anyone. Hardly any golfers midday tee time. Course overall still in good shape. Majority of tee boxes good, fairways good although some drying out and dead patches have showed up. Also noted little ponds around the irrigation lids, maybe leaking? Greens were pretty good with challenging pin placements. Bunkers are still dried dirt and pebbles, highly recommend getting these filled with sand! No beverage cart today. Staff was very nice inside. We love this course so hopefully it stays nice!

Enjoyable course for everyone
This is a forgiving layout so everyone should be able to have a fun round. The course was in very good shape. Some of the greens were faster than others, particularly on the front, but pretty good overall. Pace of play was good, finishing in 3.5 hours.

Good Course
The conditions and layout of the course are very good. It has its challenges but definitely playable for all levels of skill. However, why does a good course like this allow 5 somes and even 4 players playing with only 1 set of clubs? The other issue is the fact that the clubhouse staff are not very friendly. And, we had visitors from out of town who assumed they could rent clubs. But no! No rental clubs. That left a bad view of the course as well.

This is a great course to play if you enjoy challenging holes with unpredictable greens.
The greens are fast and do not allow for much hold on direct shots. Best to be short on some of the holes or you will find yourself off the back in many cases.
