About
The Viewpoint Golf Resort offers both a championship course as well as an executive golf course. The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill of golfers of any skill level with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course definitely makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course also provides a scenic atmosphere for the game with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. Viewpoint Golf Resort's Championship course is easy to walk and there are four sets of tees for a variety of different golfing options.

Fun day on the course. VP should offer more golfnow discounts! They sell out too fast!
Shorter than most, but better than most
It may not be the 7,200 yards you are looking for, but when it comes to incredible conditions at a low cost, you can't beat this course.
CON's:
- If you are trying to play in 3 1/2 hours in the afternoon on a weekend, this is not your place. We finished in 4 hours. And when I asked the regulars, they said they rarely play over 4 hours.
-There are 2 specific holes that get backed up every time you play, but then it speeds up very quickly, again, I finished under 4 hours, and i teed off at 1 on a Sunday
Pros-
-Soft bunkers
-Most of the people that play here are retired, so they all hut hybrids and woods, I maybe saw 4 divots on each fairway.
-The fairways were in pristine condition.
- Also, Most people walk, so the course isn't torn up by golf carts.
-If you wanted to try walking, this is the course, flat, easy-going pace of play. Very fun.
-it's a shorter course, go out there and enjoy a low round!
COURSE IS WELL MAINTAINED
Played on Wednesday, slight breeze, 80 degrees.
The course is well maintained and the staff are pleasant
Price is a little step , for the winter visitors, but the park members get a discount
Imbiciles
First time there and almost left before we teed off due to the rudeness of the staff. Course is ok, too many duplicate hole layouts, yardage, etc. Short course, should be a 3 hour round at worst, not 4+. Bottom line, 3 out of 4 of us, it was our 1st time there and we all agreed, our last.
Love this course!
This course is very forgiving. Great for golfers who are just starting out. Course is in great condition!

Course in great shape and greens are in real good shape and quick.
First timer
I wasn’t expecting much for my first time at Viewpoint, to be honest, but I was happily surprised to find great conditions from tee to green. My friend and I successfully beat out the incoming rainstorm with a 8:30am tee time and enjoyed clean fairways, true greens and an eye pleasing layout. Well done to management and staff!
Slow, Slow, SLOW!!!!!
The course is in decent condition and I usually love playing here. Not this time. The group in front of us was two holes back by the time they got to the 4th hole. I told the ranger that we would gladly skip a hole to get in front of them but he said that we should not do that because they were playing with the group in front of them. He specifically said "do not confront them". He talked to them and they played a little faster for two holes and then they went back to their original speed. They actually used a tape measure to decide who putted first. Ridiculous! We didn't see a ranger for the remainder of the round. We invited the two-some behind us to join us ( making a five-some) and we still waited for every shot. It was a difficult afternoon.
Nice walk
Had a nice on the course, I was able to walk it, the pace of play was good, the greens and fairways were good, once off fairway very dry, most of fairways slope in so that an errant shot can roll back into fairway. Nice views of the mountains on some holes.
