Worth the drive.
Great people from the outside, to inside.
Excellent greens. The fairways need a bit of grass.
Great course for the price
Honestly had low expectations, but this course has a great layout and is well taken care of. Cart paths aren't great, but that seems to be a theme in the state. No complaints for the price, you will enjoy the challenge.
Another great day of golf at the Wellman!
This is our 4th time playing this course this month and the course is in excellent condition for this time of year. Finally figured out how to play hole #11…the Wellman signature hole I believe. The greens are in excellent condition and very fast but true roll. Will be playing this course again for sure. It’s a bit of a drive from South Myrtle Beach but we’ll worth the drive. Nice little gem and not very busy so it makes for a fun round since not waiting on every shot like most courses in Myrtle Beach.
Great greens
Very friendly from begonning to end. Great greens, fairways need more grass but very nice course.
Keeps getting better
Course continues to get better after last year's re-open. Greens are in great shape, pace of play continues to be fast. Would put the price to play up against any course in the state for the conditions and layout.
Pleasant layout and fun to play
This is our second time playing this course this month and it still met our expectation. The greens were in great shape and the pace of play was excellent. Will be playing this course again for sure.
Nice Find
Nice course. A few challenging holes where ball placement was necessary. Greens were in good shape as were the fairways. The greens had subtle breaks which were not anticipated however they were a true roll. Would play again and suggest to friends. Pace of play was excellent thought we had the course to ourselves.
Overall I liked the course
Lady in pro shop was friendly, building looks to have been remodeled recently. Course is a nice layout, get your pars and birds on the front 9, back is a bit more difficult. Only negative is the poor condition of cart paths due to tree roots. Unfortunately everyone is riding everywhere but the paths.
Will play again.
Great course, no gps
The course plays awesome! The greens are challenging and fast af. The course was recently redone and The Grint App does not have it GPS'd. Their scorecard also does not show the course layout, thus making some shots a bit more challenging.
Nice place to Golf
I like playing here because it never gets too crowded. The price is great as well.
