Nestled within a quiet retirement community, the Sunland Village East Golf Course is a great course for seniors and beginners. It is also a good course for golfers who want to work on their short game, especially practicing with short irons. The course, which is a mix of par 3s and par 4s, has a short layout that rewards good shots making it perfect for golfers who are intimidated by lengthier courses with par 5s. On this golf course, the longest hole is a modest 331 yards. The Sunland Village East Golf Course facility also had a full driving range.

One of the better Executive courses in Mesa
I continue to enjoy this course. It's a great course to work on your ball striking, chipping and putting. No need to use the driver. Tee boxes and greens were in good shape as well as the fairways.

similar design as the other sunland courses but shorter, greens were perfect

Best Executive Course!
This is by far the best executive course in the Valley! The course is always in solid condition, the staff is extremely friendly and they have a great sports grill with awesome specials.
I’ve been coming here since it opened in 1998 and it consider it my home course. SVE is HIGHLY recommended!
SVE delivers a well kept course for a fun round of golf!
Everything from the tees to the fairways and greens is in the kind of shape we like! A lot of other courses could learn a lesson from SVE for course maintainance.

Great way to work on your short game. Isn’t that where every golf instructor would tell you to focus if you want to lower your score and increase your enjoyment of the game?

What a fun course especially for those looking to hone their irons (lots of par 3’s) but a good time was had by all!!
Hidden gem!
First time playing here. I have always drove by it but never seen the course since its hidden in the community. This is a hidden gem of a course. It is in excellent shape and will definitely play again.
Great summer course
Sunland Village East is in better shape than a number of membership courses out here in the desert. Great staff onsite every time. It’s the best exec experience I’ve had in Phienix area.

Took my husband to play golf here for Father’s Day. Staff was very friendly and course was really nice. We ate lunch at the restaurant and it was so good. Would recommend this course and we will be going back to play there.
