Nestled within a quiet retirement community, the Sunland Village East Golf Course is a great course for seniors and beginners. It is also a good course for golfers who want to work on their short game, especially practicing with short irons. The course, which is a mix of par 3s and par 4s, has a short layout that rewards good shots making it perfect for golfers who are intimidated by lengthier courses with par 5s. I played it for the first time ever in the spring. This is my first time back since Arizona has touch the 100° mark and the course is a bit different. A few months ago iit was very lush and every surface was a great surface to hit from. Its only end of May. I’m a little fearful of what it might look like over the coming months. I sure hope they keep it up. It was a great play. Will need water.
Very nice course
Very well maintained executive course. Has maintained grass from far right to far left. Thoroughly enjoyed playing and will be back to play again.
Great Green conditions, really fast
Don't get above the hole if you can. We had about 4 holes behind a 5-some, very slow. They didn't really seem to care that they were holding us up. But finally let us play through. After that we moved along great. If going to allow 5-somes, need to tell them that they must allow others to play through right away.
Great time
My grandson and I played this course and it was in great shape moved along well and just overall a great time
I live on the course
My buddies play this course once a week at least.
It is one of the nicest par 3 courses in the valley.
