This is a great course for beginners and well laid out.
Nice open course not a whole lot of water or sand bunkers, but ideal conditions for new golfers. This course is somewhat forgiving, but the greens are challenging. It also is one of the only courses that has a lighted driving range, which is great for late practice. The price also can not be beat, and you could afford to play this course on any financial status. I have played this course twice so far and will continue to play this course. the fairways are somewhat narrow but they bleed into each other for playability. My friends and I love to play this course and the staff are exceptionally friendly so come on out and play this course, it is awesome!
A great discount option
Palo verde provides a very easy layout for beginner golfers. The fairways can be a bit tight, but topping the ball toward the pin doesn’t find you in any bunkers or water usually. Very nice greens that are in pretty good shape.
Love playing this course and it’s always in great shape. Great 9 hole course to walk.

Palo Verde is a good practice course for the average recreational golfer. Nice range and good people. Course conditions (for an inexpensive 9-hole muni in the middle of the desert) were good where they should be, with consistent greens and maintained fringe areas.
It is very walkable with enough trees to make it easy to find shade on warmer days.

Took my dad for his 85th birthday and had a great time! He won. The customer service was an eagle! Great information, speedy assistance, and very cheerful. I highly recommend.
Good well kept public course
Nice coarse to play 9 at. If we were closer to it we'd play there much more often!
February Play
The course is in poor conditions . Much of the Staff is doing little repairs nothing else. The cars are always dirty. The course looks like a big yard with little clean up and gardening details missing everywhere. There is very little done with fairways, green kipping and your starts . They added more cars and this added more problems because the roads for cars are not well defined and the cars go everywhere killing the grass areas making it so difficult to keep the course nice. There are practice balls every where on the course because the net need to be repair on the practice area. The practice area is a big piece of open land nothing else, dust everywhere and dry not one penny in design. This area is a big space wasted with potential to do something even at night with proper lighting and design.
