Encanto Golf Course

Wow I was blown away by the conditions of this course. The fairways and greens were in perfect condition! I teed off at 6:10 and got done at 8:30 pace of play was wonderful. The staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend playing this course if you’re local or visiting.

Teeing off at 10:00 am on a hot summer day comes with reservations, cautions and luck.

Played as a single with only wide open spaces ahead... all the early bird golfers were long gone. Had a cart so was able to play a full 18 in 2 hours and 45 minutes at a relaxed pace given the rising temps. Course was in good condition and the staff friendly and helpful. Got in 18 just in time for lunch. Time and money well spent.

A hazy gray sky provided good cloud cover for our round which was completed in 2 hours and 40 minutes ...an all time record for 18 holes for me and not a drop of sweat either. Hard to believe it was 113 on Monday !

Course was in very good condition given the intense heat for the past week . Felt like a private club experience at the oldest muni in Phoenix.

Had time for a nice post round lunch too.

Course was in excellent condition especially considering it is the middle of the summer. I will be back often before the summer is over.

Played 9 holes with my wife …$35 riding , tee off 544am and we were done by 730am and off to Hope cafe for breakfast….fantastic morning …..greens were great but tee boxes had some dry spots ….nothing egregious and overall great value for the money! Great city and neighborhood views …open fairways and forgiving play!

1st time playing here….. good vourse…. Breakfast samdwich was delicious (& quick!)…. Drinks were tasty…. Tee times were pushed back…. But, pace of play was good… less than 5 hours…..

Something about Encanto just screams ARIZONA and I love it. Very relaxed vibe and good course conditions. Great facilities, Super friendly staff and a great bar. Can't wait to go back and play.

Played in late May, when many desert course's are drying up due to the intensifying summer heat. There were more than a few spots that were dried out, but there were a fair amount of areas that had held up well, all things considered. Greens were very dry, but a few were in surprisingly good shape. VERY FEW straight putts. Maybe half of the fairways were kinda crispy, the other half were, "ok". No rough to speak of, so you shouldn't lose any balls. Bunkers were mostly dirt, with some sand that wasn't completely dried out, so bunker shots are POSSIBLE, most of the time. I played 1 ball over 18 holes. Staff were VERY friendly. Nice driving range & practice putting greens. I'd play it again.

Always enjoy this course. We did have a bit slower round but we were a 2-some following a 3-some. So I honestly don’t have any valid complaints, other than I’d love to see the prices start to come down a bit. It’s getting to be that time of year.

Great track. Course was in excellent shape and pace of play was great. Can’t wait to get back out there.
