Fair course for the price
For being a little 9-hole muni in the middle of Phoenix, it’s all you can ask for given the price. The staff was friendly and it was really laid back
Heat has takrn a toll on Palo Verde
Have played this course dozens of times. First time since March. The past months heat and a lack of maintenance (?) has burned this course out. The greens have burned out from the aeration holes, and the fairways are rock hard with no grass or soggy in the wrong places.You can live with hard burned out fairways on a predominately par-3 but bad greens leave little excuses. Closer it down for a month and put in some green maintenance. I wont be back here until December.
Another beautiful run at Palo
The best track in Phoenix. Oh it looks so simple, so regular. Take a step in. The launch perspectives into the green could be a Monet masterpiece. and the greens. Ohhh the greens. None of the putts really break. Everything is an illusion. What a brain bender. Man I love Palo!!
Fair Executive
The price is right. There is a driving range that is used often. Nice that there are some water features on the course. I don’t remember seeing a sand trap. Pace of play was a little slow but I give extra points that I wasn’t made to group up and I could play solo. Condition was fine. No real issues. There are some lack of grass areas around the greens that will have you short chipping of soft dirt. For the price and quick 9 I can get it, I will probably be back.
A nice nine hole course
For the money it was a good day of golf. The course was in good shape and we really enjoyed it. It was crowded but it moved right along. If you’re looking for a nice nine hole course to play/practice this is it.

Great golfing value, very friendly staff, the course is perfect for the beginner or very casual golfer, the course is in good condition, this may be a short course, but the greens make it somewhat challenging

Good executive course. Got to work more on approach shots. Greens were in good shape.
