Oakcreek Country Club

We drove up from Phx and played on a windy wet day but had a blast playing this course. Great layout but what else would you exspect from a Robert Trent design. The greens were awesome took a couple of three putts to get use to how fast they were for bent grass. Since most the greens in Phx are Bermuda. Pine lined fairways with lots of doglegs going both ways. Food was great and so was the staff ,the bartender Joy makes a awesome bloody Mary! We were lucky enough to be paired with a local golfer who knew tis course quite well pbobably saved me at least 4 shots a side.

My wife and I played Friday and teed off around noon. The course was amazing it the staff very sub-par. Started with a kid working in the pro shop with poor service. Normally it’s the older pro shop managers mad at the world displaying poor attitude but they’re grooming them younger these days it seems?

Secondly, the bar/restaurant was closed by the time we made the turn and there was NO beverage cart on the back. No water jugs or fountains that I noticed either.

Couple of employees mentioned it’s mostly members that play here and do as they please.

The views with golf are enough for anyone to have an amazing day here! It’s unfortunate the service doesn’t match the course conditions and views. The GREENSCREW are the superstars here. Bring your own food and drinks and you can avoid our situation.

Five some held us up a lot. we skipped a par 3 to make our round more enjoyable. No course marshal to assist.

This course is right outside Sedona proper and very beautiful and manageable for an average golfer. I don’t play well enough to pay $300+ for a round like some of the fancy courses in Sedona, so this was perfect for me. The course wasn’t crowded at all and we played with a nice gentleman who was a member and gave us guidance on each of the holes. Beautifully maintained course with amazing views of Bell Rock and Castle Rock.

Beautiful course with stunning red rock views. Conditions were excellent and the staff is very friendly. Good mix of challenging and less challenging holes. Good food at the Bistro.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice facilities, reasonable fees, great course conditions...nice round of challenging golf among awesome surroundings! Don't pass this one up.

I play this course every time i come to Sedona. Love the layout and the course is always in great condition.

The course was running over 1.5 hours behind and there was no prior notice. Quite frustrating to not receive some notice or comp for the inconvenience, let alone a cheaper tee time because we’re going out much later than anticipated. The course is beautiful, such a shame it’s overshadowed by a poor starter and unforgiving club house staff.

Great overall experience and one of the best courses I’ve played in years. Staff very accommodating and look forward to playing when traveling to Sedona again.

The website shows the red rock beauty of Sedona and you do see it. But the course is cut thru a retirement village. Course is laid out fine but it’s not a desert style course it’s cut thru housing and trees so tee shot location is important. Greens are challenging but not nearly as fast as the putting green. Quite a bit of divot marks on the greens and fairways that unfortunately are not attended too. If you like a view around you it’s fine but if your looking for a challenging desert style track look elsewhere

Loved the course. Greens were fast but in great shape. Every hole made you think about what shot shape you wanted to hit. Fairways were well manicured. Rough was very difficult. Highly recommend this course.

I’ve played here two years ago and it was great. This round however was a disaster. The starter was sending out groups too close to begin with. The group in front of us was slow and that contributed to the back up. The two guys that were with us were big hitters so the waited on the group in front of us to reach the greeen before they hit. Unfortunately when the did hit, they rarely found the fairway. The group behind us had four carts! They were on our tails front the first hole and even hit into us on one occasion. They didn’t even offer an apology. A five hour round ruined the pricey experience. Where was the Marshall? Won’t recommend!
