Oakcreek Country Club

We played here a couple of years ago as a twist and had a great time. Things moved along, the views were awesome. We liked it so much we thought we would play it again.

Big mistake!

The starter was cramming groups out there. The group in front of us was slow. The other twosome in our group were big hitters,not necessarily accurate, so they were waiting on the group in front of us to get on the green before they hit. The group behind us with four carts we on our tails from the first hole. They even hit into us on one hole!

Nearly five hours later, I could wait to get off the course. Even the deal was expensive, which would have bothered me except for the issues noted above. Two stars is being nice. I would not recommend!

Great layout, great views, solid course conditions & friendly staff....what's not to like?

I have never had a bad experience at OCC. From the time you pull into the parking lot there is a feel or vibe its going to be fun day. The course is always in great shape. Greens roll well and fairways and tee box are well maintained and manicured. Cant beat the views and if you drive up from the Phoenix area its usually 20 degrees cooler. I like the challenge of the course, some tee shots require a shot shape and a little bit of course management. There are a few holes where you can GRIP and RIP.

Love it! During the summer I likes coffee.

If you have the opportunity to play this course don’t miss it.

I’ve played here in the past and if I could make one suggestion it would be to put some teeth in the Marshall’s ability to move folks along. We were behind a very very slow twosome and had to skip a hole they were 2 holes behind after the first.

Blessed day! Only comment is that the sand traps were bare and crusty and cost me a couple of shots. Otherwise can’t wait to play again.

The course conditions were beautiful, and the views were beyond beautiful. The pace of play was slow, but it was a Sunday. Only saw the beverage cart once the whole day and they are doing a little renovation in the bar/restaurant area. But with all said and done, the course and-round were very enjoyable and beautiful!!! I will be going back to play again this week!

First time playing and thought the course was in great shape with outstanding views of the Red Rocks.

Slow round meaning 6+ hours

I had never seen this on a golf course before. The group playing directly in front of us had a baby with them for all 18 holes. My guess was that the young one was around 18 months old. She was allowed to run around or was passed from one parent to the other as they took turns putting.

Incredible that the golf course allowed this as we considered it to be extremely dangerous. One wayward shot to an uncovered head would not have ended well.

OakCreek you should be ashamed!!
