Great course
Very friendly staff. Great course. Very challenging for my skill level. Firer time here but we’ll be back soon
Target golf
Interesting course. Very much target golf. Some blind spots. don't need a driver on many holes. Could use some watering and maintenance.

Target golf, so-so conditions
I want to give the course a good rating, since the people there were so nice. It was something new, so from that perspective, it was interesting. Fortunately, we played with some regulars who could give us some "local" knowledge, because this "target" golf course requires plenty of local knowledge.
Positives:
Staff was attentive and friendly.
Cost was reasonable on the GolfNow deal we used
Course layout was challenging and rather interesting. Some people won't like it, but I have always enjoyed unique layouts
The fairways were in generally good shape
Not-so-positives
Driving range:
--The tee box for the driving range was in terrible condition--mostly sand and not a level spot on it.
--The greens were not consistent
Amenities
--We couldn't get a cart, right away, due to the very busy day, so we had to walk to the practice range with our "cart" bags--a bit inconvenient (a cart was available by the time we teed off).
Don't let the description "Golf Club" in its name fool you: for a semi-private "Golf Club", it was closer to some of the less-expensive municipal courses in the area. Overall, we probably won't return as it wasn't really worth the 50-minute drive for us.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us an honest review and most of all thank you for giving us a shot. We are very aware that there are hundreds of options that are closer to the Phoenix Metro area. We hope that Wickenburg is far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle but not too far as to make for a long day.
Our course is very unique in its layout. Many people find that they have to give it a couple of rounds before making a final verdict. It is also a little rough around the edges. With the increase in play over the past year, we have had a lot more people enjoying the access to our reasonably priced driving range. The current driving range tee is not capable of handling the amount of use it is getting and the weather has not been warm enough to keep grass flourishing. We have recognized this short-coming and have plans to redo the tee this summer when we are not as busy. Unfortunately, that does not help us right now.
The additional play has also caused some caused some cart shortages as we are putting more carts out than we normally do. We are grateful for the increase in business and hopefully we can maintain this extra business allowing us to make improvements for the future. In the meantime, the staff works diligently to make sure carts are available for golfers tee times.
I do take exception to "Golf Club". Our staff, members and regulars are by definition the epitome of what a Golf Club is and they feel very fortunate to have a reasonably priced place to play and frequent. It's not much, but we all have a great deal of pride in what we have and hope to continue making it better for the future.
We hope that at some point in the future you will give us another shot and maybe even feel comfortable recommending our course to your friends. You will always be welcomed to come back!

Accuracy is Important!
A great course to test your accuracy skills. Narrow fairways with many blind spots, long par 3's where you cannot see the green. A challenge in every way! Enjoyable but definitely a thinking person's course.

Difficult course
This course is a nice course, but it's very unforgiving to errant tee shots.

Interesting Course
A very interesting course. A desert setting but much tighter than most other desert courses that I have played in the greater Phoenix area, Challenging but not unfair. A couple of blind tee shots that would have made it much more difficult if we had not been paired with a couple of golfers who had played it before. Very friendly pro shop personnel who gave us very good guidance on which tees to play given our handicaps. I would definitely recommend it.

We do have a golf course that offers a test like no other course in the area. Players that spray the ball and like to hit driver will not have the same appreciation for the course as someone that likes to play strategically and execute good golf shots. Cart path is all gavel and dirt
This course itself fairways and greens were ok. The cart path is in terrible condition and the course plants needs some serious maintenance. The main builfing is really nice abd has a nice restaurant.

Admittedly, our golf course is a little rough around the edges and this includes our "cart paths" . Fortunately, we rarely require carts to use them and even encourage cart usage on the fairways. Without going into great detail about our finances, we have chosen to allocate our resources to the parts of the golf course that are designed to be played on. We hope, and most people that play here agree, that those parts of the course are in satisfactory to even excellent condition. Hopefully our business will continue to grow and more of the periphery maintenance can be taken care of.
