Always a Challenge
Wickenburg CC is one of our favourite courses in the Valley of the Sun. It is welcoming and has a unique layout that requires a second visit (or more) to appreciate. While this course would not be an example of a tournament course - it has an excellent variety of layouts that require some thought on where to play the ball. You must be able to hit it straight to keep your score in double digits.
We teed off by 8:30 to beat the heat and had a 3-hour round as the tourists had cleared out. The course was in GREAT shape. Greens ran fast and true and the tee boxes and fairways were well-maintained.
To top off our day we had a great lunch in their clubhouse at an affordable price.

Pleasant and challenging
Living nearby, I have played Wickenburg Country Club several times during the winter. Have always thought it is a challenging course for its size and location and that it is well maintained and lots of fun.
Friendly staff and course in great shape!
This course palys longer that the yardage. There are alot of doglegs to take away the long ball advantage on many holes. Many elevated greens to put a premium on accuracy with the irons. Greens rolled great and had undulations for challenges. It is a desert course so driving accuracy was important. Loved it. Challenged every part of your game. Will definitely play it again and it is over an hour drive to get there.

Phenomenal views and condition, excellent staff!
Golf course is in excellent condition, and the long range views are fantastic! Staff is very friendly. Brad in the pro shop is very professional and courteous, as a guest you feel like a member. It is definitely worth the drive from Phoenix. I recommend playing lil wick and Big wick.
