Wickenburg Country Club

Have played this course many times and have never been disappointed with the experience. The course has always been in excellent shape with some of the best greens in Arizona as they will accept shots into them and are smooth with the right speed. It is the hidden gem in Wickenburg with the best bang for ones dollar. Course is narrow and requires one to hit a straight shot or you will encounter many hazards. Recommend playing all pat 3 ‘s from the white tees as the back tees on them are terribly long and difficult.

I did enjoy playing at this course. It was not busy when we were there so we did not feel rushed. The course was not overly difficult so I felt it was player friendly for the person who plays around 100 strokes or less for 18 holes.

I went up to Wickenburg CC on the spur of the moment after finding a " hot deal" in the morning. They had an event that day, so I ended up as a single behind a fivesome. I still enjoyed the round, as I knew what I was in for. Beautiful scenery, good greens and fairways, still finished in 4:45 minutes with some daylight to spare.

The course was layed out very nice, over a large amount of desert. We played the back tees which after the first 2 holes was a mistake for our handicaps , but loved every minute by being to see breath taking views , will play whites next time lol.

It’s kind of deceitful, but well maintained. Better bring your straight game.

Booked on golf now was grouped with 2 others. Upon arrival Pro shop staff tried to get me to go off early 10 minutes after I arrived, explained I needed to warm up and would prefer to play with others for pace of play and course knowledge. Starter ended up sneaking the two some with the same tee time as me off ahead of me anyway. I am not a hack ( 9 handicap) find that most honest golfers cannot score this well so I would not of held this twosome up. Disappointed in the staff for the following reasons. Not welcoming or friendly seems to cater to the locals with indifference towards outsiders. When I book through golf now I make sure that others have the same tee time for pace of play. As for the course just an average track with a lot of lay up holes and some blind shots. Poor driving range, average sloped putting green.

Played on a Sunday. Course was empty. Greens were awesome. Course was in decent shape especially for the price around $30. Would play again.

First time playing here. Played Wednesday at noon so pace of play was good. I'm a high handicapper so I only play courses like this if I can use a voucher of some kind. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all perfectly groomed. In some cases it's a long way from a green to the tee at the next hole, which is not a problem if you're riding. Like other Wickenburg courses, the views are fantastic. I highly recommend this course and will play again if I get a deal.

Shot 79 and I fell blessed. You better shoot straight and keep your driver and ego in the bag on most holes. Putting down hill and across green can give you heart palpitations.

If you keep your eyes just on the course you will enjoy the track but if you look past the rough ......

Playing in a foursome ,don't be the second cart going down the cart path. If you are the second cart stay 20 yards behind the 1st cart .dust, dust,dust.

Now that I know the course I can't wait to play it again.

Fun course. Very good condition and the greens were in good shape. Free yardage book at the pro shop really helped. I'll be back.

The course is in good condition and very scenic in the desert hills at Wickenburg.

The only negative is the fairways are ridiculously narrow and the greens are very small. There wasn’t a lot of bunkers but they aren’t maintained. An overall good day but not a fair test golf wise.

Course was in very good shape. Greens held nicely and fairways were decent if you hit them. A straight ball is a must.

Nice course, great shape. Not a lot of opportunity to use driver, but you need to figure out distances off the tee and hit them. Placement off the tee makes or breaks your score on this course more so than most.

This course was actually in pretty good shape. If you are a long hitter you probably won’t use the driver much. It is a little western style (has dirt cart paths) but overall I think the coarse is in pretty good shape and I belong to a private country club. For the cost it is a pretty good value and the food was really good also.

We had 5 in front of us ! REALLY SLOW PLAY!! - thankfully they only played 9 holes!!!

The yardage book they provide is fantastic. This course isn't long, and it's not wide either. Greens are small and in great shape with lots of movement. A few holes with some blind tee shots, but follow the book. This isn't a course where you pull out the big stick every hole. You need to place your shots. Fun place to go.

but sometimes it is hard to explain why!! There is a lot of variety and the layout is a bit quirky. But everyone is friendly and the pace of play our day was blazingly fast...3.5 hrs and that was because we were "slow."
