Quirky layout but a real test
We only solid the front nine there is quite a bit of construction surrounding the course and it could use at least another set of Ts.

Never again
Course was not and never will be worth $90 a round. Freeze warning delayed start we should have been started as a shotgun start. Definitely the last time I play there.
We are sorry for the cold weather that delayed your start. Our first reservations this time of year are at 8 am. We did have a little more than an hour delay on the day you played starting groups around 9:15 but by 10:45 we were caught up and on schedule. It is hardly worth doing a shotgun start when we have that little play in the morning (most people booked later because it was going to be cold). I am not sure how you think a shotgun start would have made your round better but you are entitled to your opinion. Sorry you had a bad round of golf. $90 is a pretty reasonable greens fee for this time of year in Arizona. I hope you weren't in the group of clowns that destroyed one of our carts thinking that was some sort vindication.
We are sorry that your experience was less than expected. Your comment doesn't leave a lot to go on. Was your game too bad and ugly because the course was too tough? Were the conditions too bad and ugly? This course is definitely not going to fit the eye of those that like to swing for the fences. It requires some precision and accuracy and distance is not always paramount. We hope you will give us another chance some day, maybe in the Spring when it is warmer...
Glad to see that you enjoyed your round with us! It is a lot tougher course than people expect given the yardage, especially from the blue tees. We hope to see you again in the future for another crack at it.

This course is such a gem and is an outstanding value. Plenty of blind shots, uphill/downhill approach/tee shots. Course challenging, but not impossible. Definitely worth a visit! Great course. Will definitely play this one again, and hopefully soon.

Quiet round
People were super friendly, course was almost empty. Tee boxes need some TLC and was shockingly soggy wet in places.
Wouldn't take much grooming to get it in top notch condition. However, will probably play there again and would recommend with an understanding of the problems above.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a rating and review. You are correct in your assessment of the tee boxes and over the past couple of years, we have made efforts to improve them as funds allow and will continue to do that going forward.
We are also aware of some irrigation issues as well as some soil issues. There is more clay in some areas than we would like and those areas become messy when it gets colder and the water in the soil doesn't evaporate as quickly. That is in addition to any leaks that come up!
We look forward to seeing you again, and hopefully some of the issues you noted are fixed!
Cool Morning
The course looked great, very green. The greens were a bit slow but rolled well. Could have used a cart person. The fairways were a bit wet so we had to deal with mud balls. The weather started out very cold but ended up very nice.

We have cut back with the watering and even gone without some nights to try and keep the course from being too wet.

Don’t get out here as often as we would like as it’s an hour drive out from Goodyear but always enjoy this challenging course. Such a beautiful area and course to play! Course was in good shape, but some of the fairways were a bit thin and some of the tee boxes were also in poor shape. Great staff here, very welcoming.
We appreciate you making the trek up here from Goodyear and then taking the time to leave a rating and review.
Truth be told, we got some bad seed this year. The fairways and tees are thin. Extra seed has been put on the tees and hopefully they will recover quickly!

A lovely course in the desert
Enjoyed a round with good friends at this lovely course with the narrow fairways offering a significant challenge!

I golf here regularly and it is in good early season shape. A couple of weeks and it will be in top shape.

This place is terrible
Dont go golf here the staff is unfriendly. Don't expect to get an extra cart they will have a hundred golf carts with no one driving them a and won't let you pay and get an extra cart. I don't think I will ever come back here.
Love this course
It’s a challenging layout…but you don’t feel beaten up after the round. The staff is incredible, the course is in good shape, it has a small town vibe. I love that track.

The layout is certainly different from most courses. I hope you were told about the blue/white combo tees which provide a little length on the shorter holes. If you are looking for something longer than our blue tees, then you are looking for nothing but trouble! Thank you for the review and rating! Hope to see you again soon.
