Awesome Course!!
Scott and his staff are the best at what they do. The course is always in great shape and are better in condition than the country club courses in Northern AZ. Highly recommended for anyone looking play a round while in N. AZ!!
nice course
Had a 10:00 am tee time, was able to play as a single getting out a little earlier (thanks to the staff !!!). Course is a nice mountain course with the middle holes playing on a flat area. The fairways are not in great shape, but if you play "winter rules", the course is playable. Would play again if in the area
Great course & staff
A hidden gem in Northern Arizona, great layout and challenging from the back tees.
Great course
Had a great time but cold and windy for morning play
Great NorAz course
We waited all wi twr for this course to open up. We've played it 3 times in 3 weeks and it continues to get better and better. Pretty wide fairways most of them tree-lined but very playable. Greens are good for just coming out of winter. Ryan in the pro shop is super friendly and gave great advice for playing the course. We can't wait for all amenities to open back up and get the full experience. A must play in the area.
Love the views and the greens
Lovely northern AZ course. Wander through the pines and take in the mountain views. And while the course isn't too long, the greens make up for it with many challenges. Public course, so rough around the edges a bit. But totally worth it. Will come back many times.
Great end of season experience
Despite the 30 mph winds, had a lovely time. Beautiful views and quiet. Even a little snow briefly at the end. Can't wait to go back in less windy conditions.
Nice Course in the Forest
Beautiful course in Williams, AZ. First time.playing the course, but nice layout and not too difficult. I am a 15 handicap and shot an 85. You will need to keep it in the middle. If you hit in the forest, you probably won't find it. Hole 17 and 18 are great finish to this course. Greens were really nice and true rolls. Overall great day on this course!!!
A Gem.
Was looking to get away from the heat in Tucson where I live. Looked for courses in northern AZ that had good reviews, looked like an interesting lay out and was reasonable in price. My son and I drove the 275 miles to play this course and we were not disappointed. To me it seemed to give you a chance for a very good start and then try to hold on. For what I would consider a small rural, local course it is in excellent condition. Greens rolled great, but watch the grain and slope or you could get surprised. Only downfall is gravel entry and parking. Very dusty.
Played ER Multiple Times
I drive the 30 minutes to Williams from Flagstaff because Elephant Rocks is the best public course in the region. Since I'm in my 70's, I play from the Green tees 5427 yards making the length of holes reasonable. The fairways and tees are in great shape, the greens hold shots and putt true (if you can read them). Continental CC plays slower and usually is more expensive. I'll have to drive to Sedona, Cottonwood or Prescott when ER closes.
Amazing Course
Minus Pace of Play have nothing bad to say!
Well worth the 2hr drive from Anthem
Will def play again in the Future!
Elephant Rocks Golf
This course was alot of fun. Had some very interesting holes, especially on the back nine. Would definitely play this course again.
Too rude to play again.
I liked the course and the price was more than fair. But one crockery cuss rudely approached us because i jumped on the back of a cart to cross the street to the next few box. I wish that I could say that it didn't ruin the experience but it did. There's just no need or place for that. I won't be back.
Always Beautiful
Try to drive up to Williams once a month to play this course and it is always beautiful at 6000 feet of elevation. The course is in really good shape right now and I hope to squeeze in another round or two before they close for the winter.

This "gentleman" opinion is not valid and should be removed. "He jumped on the back of a cart to cross the street to get to the next tee box" and thought that was okay!
Sorry, not a very thoughtful human being.
