great find
first time playing course will go back for sure. staff friendly course in great shape.
Fun we had three generations golfing
The temperature was cool the place was crowded the course was fun glad we drove up from Phoenix
Nice, fun course
We drove three hours to play this course and we were not disappointed. It did help that we played with someone who had played there before, just for tips on some of the hole layouts. Greens were great. Will for sure go play again.
Great condition
Nice course, great condition. Good mix of narrow forest holes, wide open meadows, up hill, downhill
Need to hit it straight
Fun course
Interstellar holes and challenging. We will come back again
Great Course For The Money
Great conditions for August in Arizona. Greens fast and undulating. Great views of mountains
Mountain Air
It's been over 10 years since last playing this course...I have no idea why it's taken so long to get back. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in great shape. Greens roll smooth, fairways allow the opportunity to strike the ball clean, ( not that I do ), and the Tee boxes aren't torn up....Played this course twice in 3 days and enjoyed both rounds...The staff was very pleasant and just added to the fun......Stay outta the ROUGH!
Forest golf at 7000 ft.
Really expansive beautiful course with some challenging holes, especially on the front 9. Great greens putted true, lush fairways, tough local fescue for the rough. I'll definitely return when in the area. If you're going to the Grand Canyon, make sure to take a little detour to Williams, AZ and this golf course!
Great course
Played on a weekday afternoon. Not very crowded. Would have finished in 3 hours except for the multi-group stack up starting on 16.
Coming from Phx, this was a pretty easy day trip. The course is in great shape, not too expensive and a nice layout. I could easily be content to play here every day.
Beautiful layout but slowww
The course is beautiful. The greens roll great, the fairways are thick and full. Its a gorgeous golf course. Great layout and I really liked the par 3s. Fun and challenging. The pace of play was just dreadful, I had a tee time at 9:40 and groups of 4 were teeing off on top of each other from about 9am onward. Essentially, there was a wait on every shot and tee box. I lost my patience after 14 holes and called it a day. No starter or ranger throughout the day. I would make the trek back up from the valley to play it again though. Hopefully it’s a quicker round next go around.
Course and greens are in great shape. Pace of play was a little slow.
Elephant Rocks
One of the best courses to play in Northern Arizona course was in excellent shape and layout is great. You have risk and reward chances and greens are in excellent shape with good speed and can stop shots quickly. Recommend to play highly just a great course in a even better setting.
Never Disappoints
The staff and the course at Elephant Rocks never disappoint. . Very nice muni, well maintained. Greens roll true and fairways are in reasonably good shape. This is our go to course when our club is closed, booked for a member event, or to escape the heat. The setting is great change from the rocks and desert of Prescott and Phoenix. .
Challenging layout
I have played this course several times over the last10 years enjoying every time. Will continue to play this course.
Over rated course
For the price -not a good value and course in terrible condition.
