Tanna Farms Golf Club in Geneva offers some of the best golf that the Fox Valley has to offer. The layout meanders across prairies covered with wildflowers and weaves through lush wetlands. The course begins with the stunning signature hole. The par-3 opener has an island green that sets the scene for this thrilling and memorable round. Although it's a seemingly short course at 6,510 yards from the back tees, what it lacks in length it makes up for with plenty of other challenges. Besides the first hole, there are a few other tough par 3s, including one with a postage-stamp sized green. There are some daunting par 5s as well. Tanna Farms Golf Club is not a lengthy course but the layout is generously spaced to offer breathing room between the holes and the undulating slopes and subtle elevation changes make it pay much longer.

In our four hour round, we saw the refreshments cart only twice and they did not accept credit cards, cash only.
Solid course for price
I’ve played over 100 rounds here as it is one of my home courses. Usually in solid condition, greens roll nice and fairways are cut to a good length. Definitely an interesting course with an island green par 3 to start. Wish they had a range and a larger putting green to warm up on. Very much a “target” golf course with lots of strategic iron shots off tees.
Friendly Staff with Super Fun Layout
We had an outstanding day at Tanna Farms for an afternoon round on a Sunday. Was a little hot, but there was a nice breeze to keep it cool. Course was in really good condition considering the lack of rain we have had in the area. Fairways could have used a trim but they were nice in the areas I was hitting to.
Staff was super nice, cart girl was accommodating and helpful, as was the golf shop attendant. Will definitely be back soon!
Easy par fives
Nice course . First time out on the course . Challenging enough for the average golfer I play it again . The path ways could be marked better to the next hole .
bunkers
bunkers are terrible. the sand is like mud, very clumpy and hard. Doesn’t look like sand to me. Needs more soft sand improvement.
Good Course
This is a good course but they definitely overbooked along with having a tournament. My 2some was on pace for a 5h:15m round due to both. I know COVID hit hard but posting people off isn’t going to make you money.

This is not a bad course, but need some cash flow to help improve the conditions. Sand traps are horrible (no sand at all)..
Great Memorial Day round
Course was in great condition. Really nice course tucked away in the suburbs.
I’m being generous with pace of play since it was holiday and a lot of non golfers were on the course. The course typically plays well and you see non golfers leave after 9.
The staff in the clubhouse was super friendly. We teed off on a Thursday at 4:50 pm and it wasn’t busy it all. There was no one in front or behind us which was really nice.
