Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort - Zaharias Course

The course conditions are horrible. Pace of play has always been an issue here, but the conditions keep getting progressively worse.

There is grass growing in bunkers. Standing water on a bunker on 18 and it has rained in LA in months.

Just overall disappointed with where this course has gone the last 3-4 years

Course was beautiful, but the groups in front of us were SLOW! No marshals, so it took us 5 hours.

Latina cart girl was rushed and charged ny credit card twice for sane charge. She needs to be better so customers are not over charged. This will discourage players from coming back.

Fairways and greens were in pretty good conditions

A few holes had too many divots…

A few tee boxes were rough as well.

Very narrow fairways, if you’re not in the fairway expect a bogey+

Overall had a great time playing

Lots of tiers on the greens and OB is pretty much everywhere. OB should be red stakes so at least take the distance.

Played as a foursome and our tee time was delayed 20 mins because they let a group go out as a six some, yes you read that right 6 players. Pace of play was horrific the entire front nine as this group was not only six deep but were a bunch of hackers that shouldn't be playing the back tees at this course.

We called the clubhouse to complain because we got tired of waiting and then having the groups behind us constantly on us and they made things worse once they talked to the group. The group started yelling at us from the green and waited on the next tee box to start a fight with us, which escalated into a physical altercation. We called back the clubhouse and they came out and apparently kicked out the group, but they didn't let us know that and never came back to apologize or let us know what happened. The staff have no clue how to run a course.

This was the worst experience I have had in 20 years of playing golf. The course has no Marshall and no starter to make sure people tee off on time and not as six players. It was a completely ruined day and a waste of money all because this team has no idea how to run a golf course. I would recommend people avoid it, there are better courses that provide more enjoyable experiences and where the staff will treat you much better.

Practicing multi-tiered putts will help save you a few strokes…Maybe. Be below the hole as much as possible.
