Jimmy Clay Golf Course
About
Jimmy Clay Golf Course opened in 1974 with a 6,931 yard Joe Finger design that incorporates Williamson Creek. This track is flat as well, and is noted for its generous fairways and large, elevated greens. The first and last holes are perhaps the most memorable. No. 1 serves up a blind approach shot over a hill into a skinny green, and the 400-yard doglegged 18th plays into the wind with water on the left side.

Jimmy Clay Course
In excellent playing conditions, Hooootttt!
Great customer service at front desk
Play Roy Kizer instead
This course has a fun and interesting layout. However, it is clearly the lesser of the two behind Roy Kizer. The greens were fuzzy and slow and there was evidence of the construction from last year as the water pipe that had been placed on the sides of the fairways still did not have grass grown over the area and acted as a skinny fairway bunker that went all the way down most fairways.
Fairways good. Pace of play phenomenal
ourse is beautiful, head management is doing a great job. Pace of play was perfect. Bunkers all raked. Cant wait till the ball washers make a comeback.
Greens too soft and too slow!!! The speed of greens was like putting across 1980’s shag carpet. They are in good condition with minimal to almost no pitch marks, just painstakingly slow. Maybe a -3 on the stimp.
Had a great time. I will be playing the Kizer course next time.

Disappointed
This old course is seriously overplayed and worn out. It needs to be closed and reconditioned. No water, no ball washers. No friendliness. Should have played elsewhere.
Stafff
I forget his name but he is a older guy and he is very cocky and rude. Other than that the course is nice and hilly
Nice course. Good value
Friendly staff very please with the pace of playing. Overall nice and good condition.
Reasonable- nice layout
Good value. Missing some grass but mostly due to the time of the year and after the big snow. Most be very nice later in the year.
Meh
Fairways are bare for the most part. Greens are deceptively slow, especially downhill putts. Love the layout for the most part, just wish they could put more resources into greens, tee boxes and fairways (in other words, everything).
great value, good muni.
It's a good course for the money, I play it the most bc it's close to my house. The staff are pretty nice, the course conditions vary depending on what season it is. Overall a great place to play with your buddies on the weekend. Pace of play is always a little slow but I've always been lucky to get paired up with a friendly group.
