Tour 18 Houston

Always wanted to play this course. Was really looking forward to playing that morning, then when we looked over at the first teebox and there was 4 groups waiting to tee off. By the back 9 we were just tired of the slow play and overbooked course. Stayed and finished the round but ended up being nearly 5 hours by the time we walked off the 18th. Was a huge disappointment. Course was in average condition, greens were discolored in spots, but played ok.

Greens were a bit thin but consistent and for this time of year overall good.

Fairways are great very big , lots of forgiveness there.

Amen corner is tough but fun

Only thing I’d recommend is gps in the carts.

Very cool to be able to play close to familiar holes. Staff is a bit unfriendly.

Always enjoyed playing Tour 18. But the course seems to get a ton of '1st timers' with little to no etiquette or sense of 'pace of play'. I will say the Marshall saw our struggle and helped us play through 3 different groups...for that, much appreciated! The course itself needs maybe 1000 truck loads of sand for the bunkers...hopefully that is in their plans for Spring. It was a wet weather day in January, so I will give them another shot in the spring. Hope to see some grass on greens, raked bunkers, etc for the price they charge on the weekends.

It looked like it was going to rain. But, the rain held off, and there was no one on the course. Played in a little over 3 hours. Course drained well. Greens were in good shape as were the fairways. On a cold and miserable day, it was nice for the cart person to be out.

We went on out and played even though the temp Was in the 40’s with winds around 20 mph. That is why we had no pace of play issues; haha. Course was in fine condition. Even with the weather we had a great time. Greens were in great shape, held well and rolled true.

Played on a cold, wet day, cart path only. Course was in good condition despite having a large amount of rain the previous day. Greens and fairways were good. Bunkers washed out from several inch rain and tee boxes a little rough. Helpful, friendly staff.

Thanks to some light rain before our tee time and a forecast that said it may continue to have some rain, there was no one on the course. My son and I got through 18 holes in a little over 3 hours. The course was in great shape. It drains very well. It's fun to play on some famous holes.

Really fun course to play and in excellent condition. Pace of play here can be slow, but today was very good. Greens in great shape and overall a great day. As a perk, the Beer girl was super nice.

A few of my buddies and I booked a foursome, but one of them came down with COVID the day of the tee time and couldn’t make it. We tried to explain this to Tour 18 and asked for a rain check or refund for the fourth slot, but the attendant said that because we booked through GolfNow, we had not technically paid Tour 18 anything, so he wouldn’t give us a rain check or refund.

Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape. Very enjoyable 3:15 round, even with the 5-some i rolled up on.
