About
Parlaying the successes of the Dallas-area Tour 18, Houston's version of America's greatest holes has become one of Harris County's most popular golf destinations. This one takes advantage of the Southeast Texas pines, with towering trees lining every hole, and the impressive conditions that have made both Tour 18s popular with the public.
Two holes stand out on the front side, and they're not the replicas of Augusta's Amen Corner (5-7 on this track). No. 1 is perhaps the most difficult on the course, intimidating off the tee because it is surrounded by wetlands. You'll need a solid drive to start well on this narrow, 440-yard hole. Bay Hill, La Costa, Inverness, and Pinehurst are also modeled, but the other great hole on the front is No. 9, a version of TPC Sawgrass's island hole.
Texas' own Colonial's third hole makes a showing on No. 12, and you'll get to see what Pebble Beach might feel like on No. 13. And those who've played the Dallas track know that the crew can sometimes get diabolical with their stimp-meter readings and pin placements, which is similar to what happens on No. 15-a replica of Shinnecock Hills' 8th hole. The green on this one slopes so heavily toward the front that a three-jack is almost certain.
Doral rears its head on No. 18, the perfect finishing hole for this track. Play the approach to the right side of the green, away from the water left, just like the pros do when they're protecting that precious lead.
Getting there : From US 59 north, turn right on FM 1960 and drive east for about 2 miles to the course entrance.

great day
The course was in great shape recent rains have really helped. This course is really fun to play and the weather could not have been better. The pace of play was much better than normal for Tour-18 so that was a plus.. Starter was cool and almost joined us for the day!!
Fun course but...
The layout of this course is great and a lot of fun, but I hadn't been in quite a while., They're building a ton of homes so it's not nearly as pretty as it used to be. Also, it's not a cheap golf course, there should be sand in the bunkers. We basically had to play then as ground under repair because most of them are mud pits or concrete hard. I know we've had rain but I've played a few of the other nicer courses around and none of them had this problem. If you've never played it it's worth a visit but in the shape it's in its a $50-60 course. Kind of a shame really

Overall this is a great course.
We had a great round at Tour 18. The bunkers could use some attention. A lot of them we lacking sand. No complaints other than that.

Great course if they looked after it.
For $100 you're expecting at least sand in the bunkers. They course has a lot of potential but the upkeep is poor and once you get over the gimmick the conditions really leave you underwhelmed. The guy who takes your payment at the counter is very rude.

Loved the Layout
Overall, I enjoyed playing the course. It was fun to play the different holes that mirror the PGA courses. Wasn’t sure what to expect playing after a heavy rain, but the course was decent shape. Most bunkers weren’t playable, green were in great shape, and the fairways were fairly dry. I’m definitely going to play this course again being only a few miles from my new home. If I had one critique, maybe some water stops along the course would be nice.

Course in great shape
Even though there’s a shortage of rain, the fairways are still lush. The greens are in great shape and soft.

Disappointed
I have played the tour 18 in Noth Texas it's much more challenging than this course. Better layout this course is over rated in my opinion the greens were super slow . The pace of play was also super slow
