About
Parlaying the successes of the Dallas-area Tour 18, Houston's version of America's greatest holes has become one of Harris County's most popular golf destinations. This one takes advantage of the Southeast Texas pines, with towering trees lining every hole, and the impressive conditions that have made both Tour 18s popular with the public.
Two holes stand out on the front side, and they're not the replicas of Augusta's Amen Corner (5-7 on this track). No. 1 is perhaps the most difficult on the course, intimidating off the tee because it is surrounded by wetlands. You'll need a solid drive to start well on this narrow, 440-yard hole. Bay Hill, La Costa, Inverness, and Pinehurst are also modeled, but the other great hole on the front is No. 9, a version of TPC Sawgrass's island hole.
Texas' own Colonial's third hole makes a showing on No. 12, and you'll get to see what Pebble Beach might feel like on No. 13. And those who've played the Dallas track know that the crew can sometimes get diabolical with their stimp-meter readings and pin placements, which is similar to what happens on No. 15-a replica of Shinnecock Hills' 8th hole. The green on this one slopes so heavily toward the front that a three-jack is almost certain.
Doral rears its head on No. 18, the perfect finishing hole for this track. Play the approach to the right side of the green, away from the water left, just like the pros do when they're protecting that precious lead.
Getting there : From US 59 north, turn right on FM 1960 and drive east for about 2 miles to the course entrance.

Fun course, great folks
First time playing Tour18. We had a twosome that was Amy he’d with another. Also really great relaxed guys. Ally eh staff were cool. None of us were scratch players and we didn’t have any problems with our slower than 4hour play.
Great fun holes. Great people. Well taken care of course.

Greens were okay, bunkers need work. Many not raked for awhile and inconsistent sand depth.

Greens from Heaven
Can’t say enough about how GREAT your greens were. For a public course (and I have played over 20 public courses in the greater Houston area) your greens, every one of them, are far superior to any course I have played!

Not well maintained
The course is not nearly as well maintained as it was when it opened. The pro shop and cart staff appeared to be bothered to serve. The grill staff was very friendly and the food was good.
Not worth full price anymore.
Interesting, but fair condition and surly staff
It’s fun to see the famous holes, but the condition was disappointing - greens veeerrrry slow and not well mown, tees had more dirt than grass.
Starter and kitchen were very friendly, pro shop and cart staff almost surly - would not give a second score card!
Food was good, waitress and manager very friendly
I will only go back for a <$50 hot deal.

This is a challenging course
I wanted to check Tour 18 off my bucket list, ☑️
I live closer to the coast and Moody Gardens (in my opinion) is a nicer course. I’m not speaking bad about Tour 18, I just don’t see myself making the hour 15min drive to play again…

Slow Day
The course is excellent and I love playing there, but the pace of play was very slow today! The starter is a really nice guy enjoyed chatting with him before teeing off.

Fun recreation of famous holes. Enjoyed getting thru Amen Corner in bogie golf!

Great Course
I’ve played here multiple times over the last year and this course is by far the most consistently great course in north Houston. Greens are always in great shape and the staff is super friendly!
