About
Parlaying the successes of the Dallas-area Tour 18, Houston's version of America's greatest holes has become one of Harris County's most popular golf destinations. This one takes advantage of the Southeast Texas pines, with towering trees lining every hole, and the impressive conditions that have made both Tour 18s popular with the public.
Two holes stand out on the front side, and they're not the replicas of Augusta's Amen Corner (5-7 on this track). No. 1 is perhaps the most difficult on the course, intimidating off the tee because it is surrounded by wetlands. You'll need a solid drive to start well on this narrow, 440-yard hole. Bay Hill, La Costa, Inverness, and Pinehurst are also modeled, but the other great hole on the front is No. 9, a version of TPC Sawgrass's island hole.
Texas' own Colonial's third hole makes a showing on No. 12, and you'll get to see what Pebble Beach might feel like on No. 13. And those who've played the Dallas track know that the crew can sometimes get diabolical with their stimp-meter readings and pin placements, which is similar to what happens on No. 15-a replica of Shinnecock Hills' 8th hole. The green on this one slopes so heavily toward the front that a three-jack is almost certain.
Doral rears its head on No. 18, the perfect finishing hole for this track. Play the approach to the right side of the green, away from the water left, just like the pros do when they're protecting that precious lead.
Getting there : From US 59 north, turn right on FM 1960 and drive east for about 2 miles to the course entrance.

Second time around
The course was not in as good condition as it was in the summer. The peninsula hole was closed for significant repairs. Some of the greens were slow compared to the previous round. But overall, it is still a very challenging course.

Great for Seniors
It is a great venue! Really like the concept of the different holes from the famous courses in the US!
Great value for seniors during the week with $39.95 rate on certain tee times on the weekdays!
Definitely worth the drive to this course from anywhere in the Greater Houston area!

Terry's take
The course is under repair right now in some places. The peninsula hole was closed, which detracted form the enjoyment somewhat. Overall the course was in very good shpe for this time of year. A few of the greens were shaggy, Overall, it was a very good course for the money, using golfpass.

Tour 18 not up to Par.
Too much repair going on at Tour18 now. Hole #9 is closed. Too much house lot construction backed up to the course. Not sure how long the mess will continue. Not worth the price currently.

Under Repair
I think they shouldn't charge full green fees if the course is under major repair. Seems like a fun idea that hasn't held up due to maintenance problems/ storm damage.

Hadn't played here in a while
The course was in good shape except for number 9 that was being reworked. Missed getting to play the island green. There was a lot of other repair work going on around the course as well as new housing beside it that changed up some of the look and travel between holes. Greens were firm and fast. Fairways were green and clear of weeds. Very nice day to play golf in Houston.

When booking no one stated signature par 3, 9th hole was closed. It made the round a disappointment.

10-14 OK 15–affected by Subdivision work. 4 wheeler to 16. 16-18 OK. Infrastructure bill needs to pass for some cart paths. Other than that, everyone had a good time. 12/08/21.
