Tour 18 Houston

One hole was closed. Pace of play extremely slow (5 1/2 hour round). Cart attendant has no snacks. For price, there are many other courses that give better value.

Just fyi, hole 9 is under construction, I wished I knew when I booked this course..

Excellent golf course layout. Particularly like playing

The combos tees. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape. Carts in good shape. We had a coffee and a breakfast taco before going out, it was also good.

Pace of play was terrible. Took 2 hours to play the first 6 holes. Marshal said he knew where the hold up was. But had not yet moved them up a hole. We finally finished our round after 4 hours and 45 minutes on the course. Terrible!

We have played this course in the past And it was in great shape. Over the years it’s obvious nobody had been doing maintenance or upkeep. After everything started falling apart, they have more started to try to fix things. The island hole is closed. The signs are in poor condition. It looks like there is no pride of ownership. We were never told the course was under construction either. There was a tournament that was booked while we were scheduled to play so we got stuck in the middle of a tournament. The play was being slow with no Marshall to speed up play. Took over 4.5 hours and were skipped one hole to get around horrible players that thought they were on the PGA. VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR THE PRICE.

When we got here we were notified that hole 9 was closed. Unfortunately the rate was still the same. We also can tell the rest of the course is in really bad shape. On top of that. There are multiple people playing the course in parties bigger than 5. Game is really slow and there is no where to go.

The course was currently in "meh" condition. Fairways were nice, but lots of dry, dead sandy patches near the cart paths. Sand was wet and packed in most places. Mostly the round was fine, however at standard price of $65pp/round, it was a bit annoying that we booked the round through GolfNow, and got no notice that the iconic #9 island green hole was closed, so it was actually Tour 17 for us today. Had we known that, we probably would have played somewhere else that day, like Houston GC or the Woodlands. There was also some helicopter that was taking off and landing in the parking lot near the clubhouse and loudly flying overhead near the clubhouse when we were teeing off.

I thought I signed up to play Tour 18, not IAH.

The course had been dumped on by rains over the weekend and this Tuesday round found us cart path only. The balls were getting no roll of course but the fairways were really nice just wet. Green were running a medium speed and true. No cart girl or water on the course but we knew that going into round. A slight bummer. Carts were clean and clubhouse facilities were good.

The course was very soggy with many traps washed out or filled with water.

The course is very soggy from all the rain we’ve had over the last couple weeks. The main lake is out of its banks. Lift clean and place mandatory. The nice new sand they spent so much time and money redoing last year has all literally went down the drain. Sad. I know they worked hard to get the bunkers right. Greens are in good shape.

Overall still fun to play. Can’t beat the weekday hot deal price on GN.

I come play here about once a month I make an hour and a half drive highly recommend2 anyone .even with a 30 minute rain delay we still had a good round had d course to ourselves. Can't wait 2 come back again!

Courteous staff. Condition was really good and layout was very good. Didn’t play last three holes because of heavy rain but expect they would have been very good, too.
