Tour 18 Houston

The course was in wonderful condition, as it has been for the past six months. It's not super long but it does provide a good challenge with plenty of water and bunkers around the course. The greens were in great shape and probably a little faster than your average course. The round was moving along at a normal-ish pace for a weekend until we got to the 15th green and saw seven people waiting on the 16th tee. Not sure what happened but there was plenty of waiting for the last three holes. Also, we saw some guys on the golf boards cruising directly across the 6th green. I've never rented one of those so I don't know the rules about where you can/can't drive them but that struck me as odd. As of this review there were rakes in the bunkers but still no water coolers on the course. Overall, a good experience at Tour 18.

Tour 18's 2020 has been very good. There are more investments to the course and driving range. The staff is ALWAYS pleasant, helpful and efficient. Pricing is competitive. Hole 12 (par 4) is extremely difficult because of the length. I am very excited for my next round.

If you kept your ball in the fairways you could reach the greens. This course is challenging in its layout but with its clean fairways and very fast greens it was a pleasure to play, I would highly recommend this course to any golfer who would like to challenger their game.

As the name states, this is a replica course of the architect's favorite 18 holes across the US. It is great to play here. I don't know how close to actual the replica holes are since I have never played any of them but you probably get a good feel for it.

The course and the greens are a little beat up since this place gets a lot of traffic but this can be overlooked since the experience is enjoyable. Since the place does get a lot of traffic, the pace is slow on the weekends. During the week it is better. Know this going in.

My wife and I have played this course three times in the last month. We get the senior rate of $40. It's a great value. The course is in very good condition. This is a challenging and fun course to play.

The course itself is very nice and fun to play with but the groups in front of us were playing insanely slow. Probably a good 7-8 groups piled up in front of. Started our round around 3 which should still be plenty of time to finish. Took 3 hours to play the front 9 which is by far the the most I’ve ever waited to play each hole. We only got through 14 holes before we ran out of sunlight and I drove 4 hours just to play here so that made it even worse. There was no starter at the first tee and didn’t see one marshal out on the course doing his job. Waited 5-10 minutes each hole before you can tee off is ridiculous. Not only that but then wait another 5-10 minutes to hit your 2nd shot and so on. I really like the course but it’s got to be better monitoring the pace of play. As a business I am sure asking a couple groups in the front to pick up pace and keeping an eye on them is whole lot better than losing customers.

I have been playing here for the last 10 years and it is always a pleasure, Great layout which is user friendly and challenging depending on the hold.

Was late to my tee time as the counter person so reminded me. I drove past the entrance because the big sign out front of the woodland entrance was no longer there. Other then that course is in great shape as long as you’re not in the rough. US open penal rough. Swing as hard as you can and only move the ball 20 feet penal. I felt like Rory chopping into the lake in front of 18 green. Still as much fun as my broken back would allow. I think everyone should play this course.
