One of my favorite courses.
The course was in good condition considering the heavy amount of rain the area has gotten.
Only complaint was the pace of play. There appeared to be some sort of outing that was causing the delays.

Average Course for the Money
Course is very average for the price. It was also the slowest round that I have played in a long time. Twenty five women held the course up all day long.
Great Course
A hilly and fun track to challenge the entire bag. I will absolutely be back to play again. Conditions were great considering the amount of rain in prior days.
Excellent outing
As usual-I always enjoy playing Gunters Landing. The greens were recently aerated but still rolled well. The fairways on the front 9 were cart path only, and not easy to navigate. The pace was excellent; not many golfers! Overall, the golf was fun. As a bonus, on one of my previous reviews, i mentioned how good the chicken salad at the club house is, and I had to indulge yesterday. Word of advice to the culinary affectionados, if you play Gunters Landing and don’t get this tasty treat you’re robbing yourself of a diners delight! It’s a bonus!
Fun course
Beautiful course. first time playing it and it exceeded expectations.
Better than most
Came back as this course always left me feeling defeated when I first started golf. 7 months in and it was still fairly challenging. Intense elevation changes and very very VERY few flat spots to hit your second shot from. Greens rolled well, little slower due to rain. Best views of any course in the area for sure. Make a trip to try out a one of a kind destination for golf in north Alabama.
Muddy Mess
The course showed the effects of the rain that had fallen, and was quite muddy. Greens were in very nice condition.

As usual-a great outing at Gunters Landing! Steve and staff anre always accommodating and courteous! BTW: They have the best chicken salad sandwich! I always get one and I’m never disappointed. On my last visit, the staff went out of their way to provide one for me, even though there was limited chicken salad. Then, charged me only 1/2 price!!!! Be sure to get one; at full price!!!
This course has many elevation changes.
The course was fun to play. Lot of interesting holes with water coming into play.
Course in great shape
Gunters Landing is always in great shape and pace of play is good.

Course was in magnificent shape. I try to play it a couple of times per year, as it's not my local course, and it's 1.15 hours away. GL was great!

Beautiful and challenging course.pace of play was fine on the front but came to a grinding halt at the turn.we were not able to spend what would have been 3 plus hours on the back.left after hole 15

Thank you for your comments. Sorry your round was slow. The ladies had never played here before and being CPO on the front did slow down. They did play right at 5 hours so that is really good considering we were packed that morning and did not have any calls complaining of slow play. If at anytime you have an issue next time out please reach out the pro shop that we may assist.
