Hot Deal on a great course.
I and 2 friends played the excellent course for a little less than $30 each which is well below their normal cost. Great course in excellent condition.
Beautiful Course
What a course! Beautiful scenery. Super fun hole layouts, but yes you have to be accurate to do well. Bring extra balls. A lot of the fairways are lined with dense trees, little chance of finding a sprayed drive. The par 3's demand accuracy in distance and direction, aka you're hitting over a hazard every time. I usually stay in the low to to mid 80's and I shot a 95. Had a blast though.
Great experience
As always-playing Gunters Landing today proved why it’s my favorite course in a 50 mile radius from home. Excellent greens and lush fairways. Great experience!
Like playing a championship course
Gunters Landing is a beautifully maintained and challenging course for even a par golfer. You have to play it to appreciate it. One of Alabama’s jewels
Awesome course, better staff.
Amazing course. The elevation makes it more of a challenge, and the greens are fast. It’s clubhouse and staff are also the best around. I highly recommend everyone give this course a chance.

Greens were recently aerated; otherwise the course is in great shape. Beautiful scenery.
Great course
This course has a ton of character with its elevation changes and scenery. It was in great condition! My group and I were very impressed and will be returning. Only downside would be I wouldn't recommend it for beginner players. We had a great time!
Excellent condition, target golf layout, groups of 5
The conditions were awesome. Greens fast. Fairways nice.
I’m not a huge target golf fan, and a lot of that here I thought. Forced tee shots on par 5’s are just not cool imo. Water in landing areas. I’d prefer more of a risk reward proposition myself. Other than that I thought the layout was good.
The only thing I can say about the pace is: why are you letting multiple groups of 5 out? Why? Actually I don’t care if people play in groups of 5 but let a single or twosome go through you. These people had plenty of experience playing golf. Not sure why they wouldn’t let a single go through. Once I skipped them, the other group of 5 (yes there were more than 1) they let me through and as expected no one in front of them. Let people go thorough.
Beautiful upland golf experience
Gunters Landing is a beautiful presentation of upland golf in a community with great views of the lake and hillsides with no worry of hitting homes. Perfect fairways and smooth fast greens.

Due to the layout, hole 18 can back up, but otherwise all went well.
