Walk on’s welcome, but!
Well, I used GolfNow and am a GolfPass member, so with my points I paid nothing up front.
I played with two other GolfNow players and it was a fun nine holes. Only problem was the backup off the first tee.
The course allowed walk in’s ahead of the reservation holders and there was at least a half hour wait on the first tee.
After we actually started play, the pace was okay except after nine holes and with daylight savings there was no chance to finish 18 holes.
I do applaud the management for giving me a rain check for nine holes as I’m a stickler for finishing rounds. I really like this course and there are plenty of risk reward shots and shaping needed. Will return as I would love to play the back nine again. A par 37 with three par fives!
Fun Course
Really really fun to play and course was very nice. Only complaint is there were 2 guys playing very slow. There were 3 groups backed up on tee blocks and staff/ranger did not do anything to help.
Nice course for the money
My husband and I enjoyed playing this course, despite the wet conditions. We plan to return and hopefully it won't be so wet and muggy and not cart path only. The course was interesting (lots of doglegs and other interesting features.) It also appeared to be in really good shape, particularly the greens. I also loved the woodsy feel of it. The only negative (other than the weather, which they couldn't control,) were the rangers. They were all over us and talking on their walkie talkies while we were swinging, etc. One came so close to me in the fairway, I thought he might run over my golf club on the ground. A little more personal space would have been nice, especially since there was no real delay in play going on. Otherwise, we were really impressed!
Nice course
I like Taylor Meadows. The course is very well kept. My only gripe would be on certain holes on the back nine there’s stuff flying around which interfered with some of the fairways and greens and it gets worse in the fall with all the leaves. Easy to lose a ball during that time of year but this course on certain holes even if it’s in the fairways makes it difficult to find your ball after a good shot. But nice track!
Taylor meadows
Corse is in great shape greens are fast you need to land your approach shots before the greens
Very Impressed and Planning on Returning
Very nice course with very nice course conditions. At $65 it is a decent cost - comparable cost and value to Mystic Creek or Coyote.
But NOTE: They do not sell booze. Which is not bad - im just making a note for anyone who it may save.
Course does not “do the disabled thing”
I am a disabled veteran and took offense to the staff members comment. I was asking for a disabled flag (not for myself because I can still get around ok) for my friend who is returning to golf from a hip replacement. First guy asked another guy about it and he said “we dont do the disabled thing here”
Good Course with Terrible pace of play
Great hang out course, but pace of play. Is extremely slow. A bunch of couples and after work happy hour groups. But if Not in a Rush or care about pace of play… Really cool course.
I posted this - accidentally put a review for a different course here. They do sell booze here
