Nice course
Nice course in a good location for me. Their prices have gone up but so have the other courses around here.
Nice course, nice layout, fairways & greens in good shape. Pace of play was extremely slow. Course rangers never left the parking lot. Poor management. Be prepared for a very slow round.
55 plus pace and course but great for anyone
Greens better then most. Play here at least once a month.
Golf
Very well kept fairways were in good condition greens and great condition but they are the smallest greens I've ever played on makes it a little interesting we'll be playing there again the bar afterwards had great hot dogs and made fantastic drinks makes a fun coming out staff is fantastic
Good Value
For the average golfer it is good test and good amenities.
Same old course
There's nothing exciting about the course, since last month all courses have raised their prices and none are worth the money being collected, Sandpiper is no exception to the rule. The only plus to the course is that a majority of the greens are rolling nice, other than that, it is definitely not advisable to go and play there. I do enjoy the lakes 9, it has a wee bit of character.
Solid 4 star course
Pace of play was great. Our group of 4 finished 18 in 3 hours 30 minutes. Overall course conditions were good. Very reasonable price for the high season.
Bad weather/Good course
So, 12 of us were going to play. 6 cancelled due to fear of bad weather,"Meow". Strong front rolled through at 6am. The course we originally were going to play closed. Sandpiper was nearby so we went there. They fit us in since almost nobody else was at the course. We went out at 9am under misty windy conditions. Had a great time. Weather cleared up as we played. Greens and fairways were in terrific shape. The bunkers were mostly clear of water, but the sand was hard packed by the rain. Saw only one other group on the course. We finished in 3 hours. I broke a hundred, which is great for me. I normally play like Janet Reno on Red Bull. Over all we had a great time on a terrific course with outstanding staff. Will play again.
The cures is in very good condition.
We played the Palms and the Lakes, and both are in very nice condition. The course was crowded but the pace of play was good. The Lakes nine is very scenic.
Nice upkeep
First time I’ve been on the course since The Lakes was re opened. They done a nice job on the fairways and greens. A couple of greens a a dead spot, but you could tell they are working on them
club link does it again
I have played a ton of golf in my life and can usually just have fun regardless of conditions. This course broke me; the condition is ATROCIOUS. Tee boxes were a joke, the greens might have well been auto two-putt, fairways and rough blended together.
DO NOT waste your time or money coming to this course. Stay so far away.
Play it. You’ll want to play it again.
Great place especially for the older. It’s not a 5 star course but it’s very nice for the price. Greens always in good shape and staff very professional and easy going. I’ve been going there for the past 6 years and after I retire I’m sure I’m be there at least 3 or 4 times a month.
Marshalls
The course was fun but it seemed there was no one to manage the pace of play. We had a foursome playing a scramble behind us so they were going really fast so we let them play through. But there was a lot of people looking for balls that would get right in your way when you were playing a hole. There needs to be marshals managing people looking for balls and get in the way of other players. It is dangerous for all. The course was hard and there’s a lot of sand traps but I’m not the best golfer either.
