Getting better
Played here a few times this year and conditions are getting better. I understand staffing and budgets as a PGA pro so I'm not surprised by too many things here. Snack bar not open till October so bring your own drink, it's hot. The course is in good condition, greens are healed from aeration last month and were rolling very smooth and quick. It's a really good layout and online prices are pretty good. I recommend.
Poor Drainage
The course was unplayable after 30 minutes of rain, extremely poor drainage. The sand traps are like playing in mortar. If the course is not going to put sand in the traps and keep them groomed, then get rid of the traps. Some traps are full of pebbles and shells. But I do love the layout and the required shot making, which keeps me coming back. Play ii as a pick clean and place and you will enjoy it.
Fantastic layout
All holes are layed out realy nice and we did not have any issues with being crowded on a sunday.
A good challenge
Great day course in good shape even though lack of rain
The Habitat
Enjoyed the course. It is challenging but rewarding for good shots.
Best course Value course in Melbourne/Palm Bay
Great course, management is making it better with up and coming amenities best is still to come! Ball placement off the tee is key hazards lurking all around. No houses to worry about but if ball goes into the woods good luck finding it! Course can play long or short depending on skill. Couples times I've played there windy have to really know distance in club! Most of the tee boxes are in good shape 17 is the only tee box that needs work and they are working on them. Fairway are good 1st cut is low enough to not be in any penalty rough is manageable greens are very good!
nice course always seems to be in good shape
Nice course 4 or 5 different lengths from tees makes you keep balls in fairways or bye bye always has been enjoyable to play on
Beautiful Day for a walk
First time on the course, found it challenging and fun.
The fairways needed a little attention...a lot of dry and sand areas that should have been fairway. The greens and the layout made up for it. The greens were very fast and well maintained.
I will return again as it was a great place for the money.
GREAT Course
Great value, good shape. friendly staff
Excellent
Beautiful course...fun layout...no amenities yet....but for $21 it's a excellent find
Soggy But Enjoyable Round
The course was quite soggy with plenty of standing water, due to A LOT of rain last week. I have played this course quite a few times and find it a great course for the price. Highly recommended.
experience
You have to play this course at least once.
Habitat on 6/1/2016
Course was in good shape. Green speeds were great. Challenging greens at this course. Not for the simple skilled player.
Best deal in Brevard county
The course (green) is very good condition as always. But it is going to punching holes on May 31, 2016. Summer time is the best deal at Habitat.
Nice greens and a nice course
The greens were very nice and it is a nice layout, The fairways aren't very lush and was kind of "scalped" for my liking. Some very scenic holes too. Over all a good experience.
fun course
just got purchased so no snack bar, all food and drinks are in the pro shop
The greens were in great shape!
The Habitat golf course is a great place to play a round of golf. The layout is extremely challenging especially the par 3's. The greens were in excellent shape. I had a really great time. This course gained my respect. I will definitely play there again.
Great Course/Fees getting discouraging
The Habitat Golf Course is probably the best course for the money in Brevard county. Greens were superb, fairways were in great shape. Pace of play was a little sketchy since the staff doesn't seem to care once you are on the course and they allow walking early in the day, which tends to slow the pace of play a bit.
Mostly, I'm disappointed in the Golf Now fees on top of the course fee. Booking right with the course doesn't cost you anything if you have to change or postpone a round. The difference between the golfnow and actual fee is almost the same once you add the fees. I would suggest taking the time to contact the course, check online, BEFORE booking through golfnow.
Sorry golfnow, but it's not such a great deal lately.
Great course
If you are looking to test your golf skills, this is the course. Greens were in fantastic shape, and may have even been replaced recently. Narrow fairways with several dog legs. I would recommend the Habitat Golf Course to others and I will without doubt play it again real soon.
B-course
Great green best part of the course fairways ok need sand in traps get the rocks out tee boxes so so
