River Hills Country Club

2nd time playing this year since on GolfNow. Really nice course, great conditions and facilities (including chipping, putting and range). Nice layout (quite long!). Was a little slow on a Saturday afternoon, but still finished in about 4.5 hrs which is reasonable considering the timing. Will be back!

Great deal included fees, cart and range balls. Range was in good condition with plenty of grass. Short game area was great- huge putting green and short game area.

Course was in pretty nice shape. Plenty of good lies from the fairway. Greens were in good shape. Firm ground but a tad slow but definitely playable.many bunkers were shallow and firm, but not terrible. Only complaint was with our 130 pm tee time the water coolers were empty and we only saw the bev cart once. Otherwise, solid and I’ll be back.

Each staff member was friendly and helpful. Found a new gem for myself.

The course was solid other than the compacted sand in the bunkers and a little sand like substance on the greens. Overall it was a good track. The free range balls made the value that much better.

Great course, glad they are offering member for a day programs. Course was wide open, was able to play at our own (Fast) pace. with no one around. Course was well taken care of

The staff and bar / restaurant team do an excellent job of welcoming you in a relaxed environment. Greens are in excellent shape and the course work is improving.

The course is in excellent condition aside from the bunkers, which play like packed gravel. The greens roll very true and are quick.

The course is not very difficult. We were debating whether to play the 6400 yard tees or the 5900 yard. We chose the shorter tees based on the 130 slope. However, as 2 - 68 year olds we would play the 6400 next time.

I really enjoyed this course. The greens were nice and rolled true. Layout was very challenging and the phase of play was perfect.

Excellent layout, amenities and a great staff. Was a slower day due to being a bit on the cool and cloudy condition. Played in 3.5 hrs. The course was one of the best I've played while im snowbirding here between han and april.

Tee boxes are nice. Greens really nice. Fairways are good but the lies are a little tight. Cost was very good compared to surrounding courses. Overall would highly recommend

beautiful course but tough, lots of tree cover & a few holes with water hazards. greens are pristine and very fast. pace of play was great, staff was friendly! i’ll def be back!

Love the course. It’s built for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Some water hazards to keep you honest and make sure you hit decent shots. Great clubhouse with really good food and drinks.

The course was empty, and I know why. The fairways were quite bare. It does not appear that it was over-seeded. Greens were ok, but bumpy.

One question. Did anyone supervise the installation of the granite signs?!

I played there a couple months ago and was not impressed...the greens had bare spots, had to move ball in fairway to find grass and the tee boxes had many bare spots. I heard the course was in much better shape, so I gave it another chance...WOW, was I surprised. The greens, fairways and tee boxes had been punched over a month ago, and had recovered beautifully. Fairways are getting plush along with tee boxes and the greens are rolling well. In another couple months, River Hills will once again be one of the best courses in area.

Played in late Feb, 2020. Perfect. Course is in very poor shape: grass, greens, fairways. Layout OK. Would not recommend this course.
