Bloomingdale Golfers Club

About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Marshalls are Important!
2 players were allowed to jump in line , in the middle of our round, and start their round at hole #10.
Consequently, it took us over 2 and a half hours to play our back 9.
Slow round
Liked the course, some fun holes that require actual thought on club selection. Unfortunately, it was one of the slowest rounds I’ve ever played. Two holes in the first hour got better, but still bordered on six hours for 18 holes. Teed off around 11:40 for an 11:15 tee time.
Improving
I used to play here frequently, but the course had started to decline due to the amount of play from people abusing the course. Driving through the course when the course is rain soaked leaving tire "ruts" & damaging the course. It was the first time in over a year that we played the course while it was dry. It's headed in the right direction. Just fix the bathroom already!
First time playing Bloomingdale’s in about a year, I use to be a member.
Pace was slow as normal. After playing four hole the marshal informed our group that they will be starting a league in ten minutes. That slow the pace even more. It will be nice if the staff will informed players of tournaments, leagues or other activities BEFORE we start playing. Very disappointed. If I had known I will have come another day.
Challenging course
Challenging course for me. Had a good day. Weather was perfect. Friendly staff. Restrooms on course were locked.
Slowest round in my 50 years of golf!
I understand it was a Saturday on a perfect weather day in Florida, but there was no reason for the pace of play. We started at 11 am and finished 9 at 2 pm!!! Three hours for nine holes. We left. No Marshalls pushing groups along. Just a packed course with slow players. I tell all reasonable golfers to avoid this course like the plague!
Overbooked
Course had 240 bookings for the day. Took us 3.5 hours to get through 9 agonizing holes. The course was simply overbooked. The fairways, greens, and tee boxes were all in great shape. The staff was friendly and nice. They were nice enough to give us a rain check for 9 holes due to the slow play. After I use the credit, I don't think I will play here again.
Beautiful course but.....
Incredible oak trees, Spanish moss, wildlife, so if your out for a stroll in Mother nature this course is for you, if on the other hand you are looking for a decent golf course look somewhere else, sand rooster tails on every putt on every single green, just horrible, huge wet sink holes in the middle of many fairways, can you say French Drains, hello Mcfly is anybody home?
Will not be back, only paid $33 Golf Now but that's beside the point, it's all about the money for them I guess
Good course. Pace of play slow
This course is decent shape and like the layout. It's a sneaky challenging one, which I think causes the slow pace from players playing a tee that's too long for them. It was a slower pace almost 4:45 to complete. The carts are overdue for an upgrade as well. Overall, not bad... Just prepare to for a long round.
Lack of management
Pretty course but when you have a group of 6 that won't let a single play threw pretty miserable experience.
