Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Favorite Course So Far
I very recently got into golf. I’ve played about 6 courses and this was absolutely my favorite one. Beautiful scenery, good pace of play, beginner friendly holes. Everything you could ask for they have. Friendliest golfers as well, the guy behind politely asked if he could play ahead of us. Members were giving me pointers at the driving range. Cart girl was very nice and friendly. Best course around the area by far!
Great place first timengolding in florida
Haven't been to a course like this in a while good pace good conditions and just all around a great day got paired with a great group. Couldn't have had a better one go early or suffer from double booking.
Pace of play
The course was out of control. We play holes #1 & 2 in 50 minutes. Our tee time was 1:15 pm and only finished 14 holes. There was group of 6 players on a hole. There was a group of 4 players directly in front of us who did not tee of tiill the group in front of them left the green. No marshall. A total disaster. .
Way to many golfers
Slowest round I have played in a long time. 3 hrs for 9 holes and I called it a day. Staff was good but they can only do so much. Whoever runs this place and allows tee times so close should be fired. Just plain greed ruining a pretty solid course. Would not go back. Got paired with a great guy so that made it a bit better.
awful
Tried to play again after a 6 hr round last year and walked off after a 3 hour front 9, do not come if you don’t like 6 hr rounds
MUCH BETTER
BEST COURSE I HAVE PLAYED SO FAR. GREENEST FAIRWAYS AND VERY FAIR AND TRUE ROLLING GREENS. VERY DISAPPOINTED ON PLAYERS THROWING TRASH ALL OVER COURSE.
NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP.
Greens and Staff
The course has a challenging layout. Also greens are in great shape. Fairways are dry. the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. The Clubhouse bar and Grill to include the beverage cart on personnel (Haven and Bri ) are amazing and do their very best to accommodate anything you need.
Great Greens & Friendly Staff
The course layout and the greens are great condition and challenging the fairways and tea boxes. Need improvement also on course bathrooms need to be repaired. They’ve been out of order for an extended period of time. The clubhouse staff and starters are very friendly and make you feel welcome which adds to an enjoyable experience
Bloomingdale
This course was in great shape. Pace of play was good. The Cashier was friendlly.
Indifferent and uninformative
Clubhouse staff acted as if a frost delay meant the whole facility was closed. We were ignored for several minutes and when they finally decided to talk to us they were rude and condescending. We asked how long the delay would last and were told ‘till the frost cleared’. Every other course I have ever been to gives you an estimate-one hour, half hour, etc. This staff acted as if we were a nuisance just by being there. Turned out the delay was only about an hour, but then the starter sent a single out first before reluctantly pairing another single with them. A 3some went before us and a 2 some were behind us. We were also a 3 some but were paired with a single. That made a 2some, a 3 some, our group of 4 and another 2 some. We didn’t understand why the single paired with us didn’t get matched with one of the 2somes to even things out. It then became obvious that the starter was giving their friends preferential treatment. Otherwise, the course was in fairly good shape and we would have enjoyed our round a lot better without the interactions with the clubhouse and starter.
6 Hour Round
At 1:15p (our tee time), we still 10 carts ahead of us waiting to start. Every hole was backed up with three groups waiting, especially the par 3s, which often long delays. Several groups gave up and left. Ended up being a six-hour round, and we played the last four holes in the dark. Completely unacceptable for a early afternoon tee time.
Only bright spot was the starter/marshal—very friendly, entertaining, and clearly doing his best in a bad situation. He knew all of the “regulars” and made the wait a little more bearable.
The course layout is nice, but until they fix tee time spacing and pace of play, we won’t be back.
