Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Ehhh
Average course for the area. Overpriced and pace of play was awful. Very busy range.
Greed
They are charging $100 dollars for a mediocre course that they pack people in 7 minutes apart, with no ranger. Mind you this course is $29 in the summer!
Great value-------if you are in the area.
Just renewed my GolfNow membership and wanted to get a round in while staying in Clearwater. Was hoping to play Babe Zaharius course but booking agent made an error and lost the reservation. Booked Bloomingdale instead.
PROS:
- VERY NICE FRONT DESK STAFF!!
- great carts. Electric with GPS and whatever you needed.
- well kept greens.
- as nice a layout as you can ask for in Florida where there is NO elevation change.
- nice putting, chipping and driving practice areas
- front desk let me out ahead of my scheduled time
- $33 for a good course is a great value
- 6 tee settings so you can really pick and choose your challenge level
CONS
- it's Florida. The swampy smell is constant
- grass was soggy and granular.
- make sure you bring water. None on course. Cart girl must have been raking it in. I was smart enough to bring plenty
- unless you are in the city or East of Tampa it's a bit of a drive.
Absolutely horrible
As I speak we’re on hole 3 with a four some a head of is our tee time was 2 finally teed off at 220 and it’s taken 120 min to play 2 holes no ranger to keep the pace and this place has no respect for its players all for the money only so sad
Disappointing
I hadn't played Bloomingdale in a while. The fairways were spotty, and the greens were slow and not in great shape. Everything was painted green, lol. It's a great layout. I just hope the ownership can get the course in much better shape than it is now.
Bloomingdale Golf
The course was in very good condition. They only complaint I have is they kept watering the greens in the middle of our round. I understand it was because they had fertilized the greens but I feel like the timing could have been better. We tees off at 11am. Some of the greens had standing water on them when we were putting.
Stay away
They booked tee times.. in the middle of a scramble. I haven’t been here in a couple of years because of how it’s been run. Course is always in bad shape. Pace of play is terrible. If you want to enjoy a round of golf, go anywhere else.
Great shape
I like everything about this course it's in really good condition I like to lay out. I would recommend this course to anyone in the area.
Worst pace of play ever, every time.
I played maybe 8 times here before I ever even finished a round because of how long it takes here. They overbook this course so bad that it completely ruins it. I played on a Saturday afternoon and it took hour to get through 3 holes, only saw cart girl once because there was a million people on the course, everyone gets impatient waiting 10 minutes between each stroke and ends up hitting balls into you.
Really sucks because I like the course and it’s really close to me but I’m so over this place. I’ve given them plenty of chances but they ruin the entire experience by overbooking.
Take Your Money Elsewhere
Played here 2-3 times now, won’t be coming back. Pace of play is awful. 3+ hours for the front 9. Today it was blazing hot with a feels like of 107. Not a single water station on the course. Every bathroom is out of order, they make you use porter potty’s outside. Cart girl finally gets around to us on hole 6, had nothing to offer. No water ice drinks nothing. For $80 there is much better options around the Tampa area.
Are you kidding me
This place is terrible. Overbooked tee times, Marshall doesn’t regulate pace of play, no water cooler on the course, cart girl barely comes around and when she does the cart is empty w/out ice, water, Gatorade, and alcohol. All the bathrooms are closed. At this point you’re paying to sit in the sun and stand on grass. Tee boxes are all sloped. Management needs to be better.
Decent course but no control on pace of play
Decent course but no control on pace of play, no rangers and they let out singles out when busy. The pace of play is horrible, hackers have no idea how to use course management, need rangers to push people
Punched
Back nine were punched didn't know that when I booked but overall great shape
Play elsewhere
Where to begin. It’s been many years since playing here. First, there’s not a working bathroom anywhere on the facility except a porta potty. Second, there’s not one drop of drinking water anywhere on the course. Third, the day I played the place was a swamp and they still had sprinklers running. Half the holes were cart path only. It was just aerated and yet no one said a word in the pro shop. Greens awful. Fairways wet and no roll. No ranger anywhere to be found and at one point there were 4 groups on one hole. Won’t be back unless something big changes.
