Bloomingdale Golfers Club

Played Bloomingdale the other day. Some serious improvements happening out there. Rebuilding tee boxes and cutting back over growth. Looking really good.

The staff was very nice and course is good shape , even with lack of rain, but extremely slow. No course management after you check in. Only played 9 because of the 3 hour 9 holes.

This had to be the most mismanaged tee times ever. Yes they have a Ranger to check you in, but no one on the course to move people along. We started 15 minutes late. And the front 9 took 3 hours. When we mentioned it to the new ranger at the turn he said it will be the same on back nine. They offered a rain check, but we would have to get that through GolfNow. The cart girl we did see twice in the time we were playing.

Course in good shape. Challenging long par 3's, as long of a course as you would want but decently open. For the drought Tampa has had, i was surprised of the conditions. Course has a lot of people on it so I could see how pace of play could be an issue but if you go early this course has all the amenities you want. Great value for the price.

Arriving to the first tee there is one group on the green, one in the fairway, one on the tee box and 3 groups sitting waiting to get on the tee box. This is at 10:48, my tee time is 10:52, didn’t tee off until 11:15 and proceeded to have a 5 hour and 25 minute round. They NEED to get a starter out there. Green/ tee boxes in bad shape and PAINTED . Got a cheap tee time on golf now like 35$ but what they are asking regular rate is crazy likely won’t be coming back here

This is second time in less than a month that I have played Bloomingdale and the course once again was overbooked....Additionally, there was no Marshall governing the pace of play of certain groups. Conditions were okay but not that great. It was just about a 5 hour round of golf because once again they overbooked the course...

Pace of play awful as the have no Marshall and overbooked it again

I had family in from out of town and took them to Bloomingdale to play a round. Course was in okay shape and a decent value considering what other courses are charging. They had started sanding the greens on the back nine which was unfortunate. Staff in clubhouse was great. However…when we finished the round and went inside to eat and the experience was not satisfying to say the least. We sat at the bar due to the time of the afternoon (3:30) so that the young lady working the bar would not have to come out to serve us. Considerate we thought, but the blond hair young lady I guess did feel the same. She was rude, took our order and really didn’t check on us to see if we needed more drinks as we sat there for 25 minutes waiting on our food. When we inquired as how much longer it might be she said she didn’t know and stated others had ordered food as well and that might be the hold up. Funny thing was there were only 8 people the whole time in the bar and 3 of them were us. No one else had food or ate anything the whole time we were in there. She just provided terrible customer service. I have played this course of and on since it’s opening and it’s a shame the family and I were treated like we were.

Absolutely horrible we were waiting in the tee box for over an hour to start our round as they overbooked the golf course. Even the marshalll told us that they were overbooked by the club house personnel...it ws a 6 hour round of golf

Tee off at 3:45 was only able to play 12 holes before it got dark at 7:50 PM. Paid for 18 holes. Every hole we had to wait on the tee for several minutes, same in the fairway. Too many twosomes sent off, with no maintaining of space on tee times and no ranger on the course to keep up the pace.

Had a lot of fun playing this interesting and challenging course. Overall the course was in good condition with green fairways and fast greens. The only negative was the slow pace of play as the course was quite busy.
