About
Pala Mesa Golf Resort is situated between Temecula wine country and the beautiful countryside of San Diego's North County. The course was carefully carved from the surrounding hillsides, providing rolling fairways and undulating greens throughout the layout. Towering oaks, sycamores, and elms blanket the course's landscape, providing the perfect complement to the stunning mountain views. The fairways are tight and lined with trees, demanding a fair amount of accuracy. The greens also play fairly quick. The golf course does provide a challenging round but it is seemingly much tougher than it actually is. Beginners should still feel comfortable taking on the course. The versatile layout in combination with the consistently good conditions have earned Pala Mesa acclaim as one of the best golf courses in San Diego County.

Great shape and wide open
After all the rain this course is the greenest I've seen it. There was no one in front or behind us on a Tuesday at 10am.

North County Golfer
Enjoyed an early round of golf at Pala Mesa. The weather was beautiful and it wasn't crowded at all.As usual , the staff is outstanding and always pleasant!
We always enjoy playing this course. It can be challenging with the deep rough. The course is in great condition. The course was not crowded so pace of play was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We will play again when back in this area

I played Friday afternoon and had a great time! Jarrett at the front desk was very helpful and would highly recommend this course!
We had not played this course in years.We finally decided to pay the premium fee and were very disappointed because when I booked on line it wasn’t disclosed that the greens has just been lined and sanded.
Pace of play
This course was in great condition. We were the first ones to tee off . We finished round in 31/2 hrs and layout was great and everything was nice and greens. If you play here try to tee off before 8am as the jr kids show up to practice . Overall great course to check off the bucket list .
