About

Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Target golf required

I was visiting Carlsbad from Seattle area and a friend recommended RedHawk for a good test and a great Layout. Both of these proved to be true!

While our experience started off At the starters booth, talking to the starter, and we were blown full of dirt and dust by the maintenance guy… the starter was a little embarrassed, but still provided some good advice for a first time player.

Great greens to putt, but they were a little soft and really held a shot. Some aeration marks in the fairways made drawing a clean lie tough sometimes I played alone so I bumped it..

all in all, I’d go play there again, worth the greens fees but kinda stupid I had to pay $25 for my lady to ride along…

A Great Spot in Temecula

First time playing this course. Went solo, and was paired with a threesome that ended up being pretty great folks. The course is in very nice shape, fairways are kept nice, and the multitiered greens are quick and a blast to try and putt around.

The staff, without question, are some of the friendliest and helpful folks so far on any course in this area. I would HIGHLY recommend snagging a tee time here, for the experience and hole 8 alone.

Great course all around

Loved this course. Not too easy, not too difficult. Great layout with no two holes the same. Lots of sand and water features everywhere. Really nice range and practice area. Easy parking and friendly staff and drink girl. All for cheaper than almost every course in LA.

Will be back 100%.

For Price course needs Great Condition

Course is Good to play Once or Twice a year. It is overpriced as there are other Courses in area at $30-$40 less. If they are going to be charging that rate Please have all Sand Traps Raked and remove All Rocks and pebbles !

Great track

One of the better tracks in the area and still at a decent price. Greens were in great shape and running pretty quick at 11. Fairways in decent shape, rough was thick as it should be. Will return soon.
