About
Westridge Golf Club is a challenging layout designed by Robert Muir Graves, a familiar name in California golf. Graves has designed many of the state's most popular courses including Boundary Oak in Walnut Creek and Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel. At just under 6,600 yards, Westridge G.C. is seemingly short but what it lacks in length it makes up for with more than 60 sand bunkers strategically placed alongside the narrow fairways and sloping greens. There are also some holes that offer interesting risk-reward opportunities for adventurous big hitters. The elevation changes throughout provide difficult uphill and downhill shots that will depend almost entirely on proper club selection. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course finishes with a dramatic par 5 that plays downhill against the winds to a rolling fairway and then into a fiercely protected green.

Well Worth it!
Course was well maintained with great fairways and challenging greens.
Bunkers were SO nice with soft white sand. Almost effortless swing getting ball out. Played with buddies and they all stated well be back soon
Slow slow
I usually go this course because it is very close from my house, but today was worst day and there was at least 3teams wait for tee up!
Behind of our group keep hitting ball while we were waiting out front team to clear green.
My husband told them to not to hit the ball because ball almost hit us!
But they start yelling so my husband almost fight with them.
No Marshall came, I called clubhouse but I didn’t see any Marshall around!
So tight tee time!!!
This course just want money and doesn’t care golfers safety!
I never go this place anymore!!
So terrible experience and 5hours 30 min to finish 18hole!
Tight Fairways
This was the worst shape that I've seen. The greens were great! The fairways were suspect with lots of mud and an lots of brown spots. The course was one of the best kept but now it's the run of the mill to poor looking and playing.
Keep it straight, enjoy the layout
I like this course even though motocross courses seem more pristine at first glance. The narrow strip of grass called the "fairway" isn't bad and the greens are decent. But heaven help you if you're in the rough, and you will be frequently. Bare dirt is more common than grass. It looks awful and plays worse. But I like the great hillside layout. Sometimes you can let it rip but you have to be smart and play it down the middle on the narrow holes. It has some unique holes (#14 especially) that I look forward to. Play smart and straight to score well here. Pace of play can be a problem, play early if that's an issue. We played on a January Monday at 8:20am in 4h40m.
Hard course
But fun, interesting layout and very friendly staff
Good, if you like 5 hour rounds
8 minutes between tee times, so just pray you aren't stuck in a sandwich. Bring a book, you'll need it.
Westridge Needs Improvement
Played Westridge course in early 2022 and it needs improvement. While the layout is interesting and challenging, management needs to mark bare patches and seeded areas as ground under repair, marshalls need to actively move slow playing groups to pick up the pace, and the starter needs to monitor pace of play at the turn and alert the marshall to take corrective action.
