slow play
There were some high school boys in front of us and they played very slowly. The pace was so bad, we quit after 12 holes. Greens weren't in that great of condition.
Jimbo
Fairways in tea boxes were very good with the greens were terrible lots of weeds and in some cases no grass at all while it will improve it was a challenge to put well
Greens
The greens are in very rough shape, making it difficult to make a good putt.
They are overbooked. It took 3and a half hours to play 9 holes. Backed up on every hole. We went to the back 9 and the same.. finished 11 and left as wi would definitely not completed til dark.
The greens are in very poor condition and the fairways brown straw.
The starter was a very nice gentleman and the gentleman in the proshop was nice. A threescore before us we asking for a reimbursement and he gave a rain check for 9 holes,so we asked for the same.
Greens Almost Unputtable
Most of the greens are infested with tufts of poa annua that should at least be mowed every morning, but not.
Made putting ridiculous.
The course is fine, I have played there several times but I am very unhappy with Golf Now. It was raining and I was maybe 15 seconds late for cancellation and the AI would not let me speak to an agent. Remove humanity and all we get is frustration.
Greens vs land mines
I’ve played this course many times from 2020-2024 but it seems the last 7-8 times I’ve played, the greens weren’t maintained. I just played here last weekend and the greens were completely full of little weeds about 3-4 centimeters off the actual surface of the green. And I wish I were exaggerating but they’re all over the greens. I’d compare the greens to bubble wrap putt-putt course. The course layout itself is fantastic and it’s a shame the greens have been, and continue to be, in terrible condition year round because this was truly one of my favorite courses to play, and I travel an hour to come.
Additionally the last 5-7 times I’ve played here, during the week and weekend, the pace of play is extremely slow. Every hole you’re sitting on the tee box for at least 10-13 minutes with 3 groups in front of you on the same hole. Every hole on the back 9 was even worse, 3 groups on one tee box every hole. The pro shop needs to limit the amount of golfers they let out or at least give a larger gap between when they send people out. Again, truly disappointing because this course is one of my favorites and I don’t think I’ll be back for quite some time, there are many other courses with better greens, better pace of play, and not as packed within the same driving distance.
Fun track to play that gets a bit wet and worn in the off season , as is to be expected. We love playing there.
Course was closed
The course was closed due to the weather. How do I get a refund
Thank you,
Bob Austin
Course was good as expected after 8 inches of snow in January
Greens were quite fast. Fairways were mostly brown. But this is regular January type grass.
Greens were wasted.
Probably from too much traffic during winter season.
Bunkers are in great condition.
