ONE Club Gulf Shores

The fairways were ok, but the bunkers and greens were horrible. Bunkers had not be dressed and many had standing water. We played early and the greens had not been rolled and dew was heavy so putting impossible. Also weeds and bare areas on the greens.

We have played here many time on our annual trip down and it has been great. But we were literally shocked at the course conditions!!

The course is not being properly maintained. The weeds, choppy fairways and lumpy greens do add an element of complexity. The “sand” traps are unplayable it is void of any sand and simply concrete holes. But we had fun on a gorgeous day for the price but not recommended for a true golf outing.

Since new owner the course has gone down hill but the price has increased.

This course is only 9 holes, so you play it twice. But as a beginner, it has been a good place for me to learn the game. The fairways are narrow, and the greens are a little rough. Overall I like the course and feel it's a good value.

Great coarse for the money. Tight fairways and small greens. Pace of play was great. 100% would recommend.

Golf course in good shape, but there is no water on the course to drink!

This was a little gem of a “par 3” style Executive Golf Course. Played it off Golf Now “Hot Deal” due to the time I had to play and proximity to the location I was staying. If you like the color BLUE, you will love this course… their main color scheme is blue. Tasteful of course. This is a 9 hole course that plays as a Par 35 with 4 sets of tees. It looks simple and easy but don’t let that fool you. It’s got some challenges and most greens are protected by bunkers / sand traps. We had some inclement weather in the area so the tee boxes had not been mowed yet, but grounds crew were out while we played the course. Greens were smaller than a normal golf course but definitely a shot makers green. Played 9 holes x2 to make a full 18 holes. It plays as a par 70, I shot (-2) for a 68 so it was a fun and enjoyable day. I would highly recommend playing this course. Club house check-in was super simple and laidback environment.

It’s too narrow for long clubs. Practically every par 4 was PW+PW+Putter. The only par 5 is too narrow for a shaky driver if you slice or hook some. You will 100% hit a car or an apartment building. The greens were extremely firm and covered with invasive turf grass so everything rolled off and dod not putt true. A decent course super could probably make this course playable but you won’t need more than a couple wedges and a putter. Unless of course you hit 200 yard lasers. Then you may love it.

RIDICULOUS THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TEE TIME!!!!

First two holes are tough but then there’s some fun short par 4s. Can’t beat it for the price had the whole place to myself for house when others were slammed here.

If you’re looking for a great little golf spot in the Gulf Sores area, check out The One Club. Inexpensive if you look for a hot deal. Challenging course that’s in great shape. Get in 18 in a little over a couple of hours. Great staff! Have played this numerous times always good!
