Great Round at Glenlakes!
Have played here many times over the years. The fairways are in really great shape. The staff is friendly and the starter helps you get the round underway. The clubhouse is very nice and a good spot for lunch or snacks. The greens were true and fast. This is a good value for this vacation oriented area.
Great place to play
Course was great, the greens rolled true to the practice greens. Pace was a little slower off the box but after you tee up it’s not bad. Fairways are tight but if you can control your drive you can get with in 100 of most greens. It’s a fun place to play and would definitely play it again
slow play and slow greens
the play was terrible!! the greens were high and mushy and extremely slow.
Golf more
Overall the course is in good condition the greens are a little slow as they are still growing in and healing from aeration . Another week should give this course excellent rating for play across the board. Glenn lakes is a great course with a few challenging holes, overall 1 of my top 3 favorite courses to play near the Alabama/ Florida state lines. Go play this course have fun happy scoring
Service
Charge for an extra cart was $38... our round cost was $43. My grandson has special needs and likes to go with us....don't you think the cost of gas would have been enough? $10~15 is what we usually pay. The course condition was average but very confusing to get around. They have some detours that are not clearly marked so it's easy to go the wrong direction...
Service was slow. It took us 20min at the turn to get 5 Hotdogs & some beverages.
Played this course 3 other times in the past. Something has changed.
Will not go back
Great Value.
Course was in good condition. Very playable. Greens are descent although very slow the day I played. The guy that said the course was in bad shape must play at some really high dollar tracks. GlenLakes is a great value.
Greens are going going gone
Overall, greens were very wooly and putting was not 'true' and very inconsistent. Several greens had fairly severe damage, had to play around it.
The VISTA course was closed, so value for the round played was reduced as we had to play the short Lakes course. You don't know this until you get there and you've paid GolfNow, so no refunds from Glenlakes.
Clubhouse staff is rather bland and unfriendly. Steve the starter was good.
I've played here for decades, this is the worst I've seen the course.
