About
The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

Spotty and sandy greens
Many of the greens were bumpy and full of sand with little grass. Many tee boxes weren’t nicely manicured. The course had a great layout with some challenging holes. Amenities were great. Friendly staff. My only concern was that for 100 dollars, I expected to at least play on nice greens. Hopefully the greens get better!
Rough Greens
Impressed by the weed-free, beautiful fairways, so was surprised by the bald spots on the greens and poor condition of the tee boxes. The greens are cut high and very slow; never could adjust to them. A beautiful course otherwise and fun to play.

Worst Course in Florida
Played Falcon Fire for many years, bilut this year it is beyond disappointing. Greens are in very poor condition, fairways the same, along with the tee boxes. It's easily the worst course in this area, from previously being one of the best. Don't waste your money, you will be massively disappointed!! 1/10.

Soft grass, fast greens picturesque moments.
A challenging course, slow in the early mornings changing to fast the sun comes out, making for challenging greens and lush fairways. A few holes were under maintenance but we where warned before hand. GPS in the carts takes out your need for guessing or using a range finder. And the rental clubs aren't low budget, renting a nice set of callaway mavericks with paradym driver. Steve started us off on hole one. A friendly man with quick wit and a good sense of humor. 10/10 would recommend you play here.

Goat track
If you spend a dime of your money to play this course it will be too much. I have played this course more than 30 times over the past two decades but had not played it in over 4 years until March 25th, 2025. Prior to this year, the course was always a premier course in the area from the time you pulled onto the grounds, not anymore!
The tee boxes have barely any grass, the fairways have sparse grass on them, the bunkers a covered in weeds and lack sand. The greens are sand covered in order to make up for the lack of grass on them and the areas where the former holes were cut have not grown back in.
My daughter and I paid roughly $85.00 after 2pm and this goat track isn't worth $10.00. They are either trying to sell the course or happy to be stealing from the unsuspecting folks flocking to the area for vacation. Play Hawks Landing, it's worth every penny!

Go anywhere else
The rumors about Falcon’s Fire returning to a great mid-level course have been greatly exaggerated. I swore off this course after playing a tournament in the mud pit it had become a few years ago but we gave it another chance, for some reason. There are still drainage issues in some fairways despite little recent rainfall, too many greens were indistinguishable from a bunker, and the course staff seem indifferent to their own incompetence. This place needs another management overhaul immediately. At $110, it’s grossly overpriced for the experience and can only justify the price by its relation to nearby courses. Skip it because you’ll get a far better experience paying a little more at one of the wonderful courses nearby or add another 15 minutes to your drive from the resort area to save money and frustration at a course that cares.

Do not waste your money
For over $100 a round on a Saturday morning, please spend your money elsewhere. The course was in terrible condition, grass was scorched in some areas, soggy in others (despite no rain), and greens were practically a beach on some holes. I had two times booked for my party, and they started half of us on the front 9 and half on the back 9. The course as well as management need a major overhaul.

Not in good shape
Most greens have dead spots and have patches covered with sand. Fairways are inconsistent and have large dead spots. I have played it previously when it was in better shape. Disappointed with course conditions at this price.

Very disappointed in the condition of this course!!!!!
We were Very disappointed with the condition of the course!!!!! Just about every tee box was nothing but dirt . Every fairway had lots of burnt grass on them. The greens, we’re discussing!!! Most of them were bumpy and a lot of them had places marked ground under repair on them. A lot of them were burnt and had sand on them. One green ,we hit our balls to it and just picked up because it was covered with sand..
On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and helpful!!!!
